My main problem with TP are that it lacked interesting people to meet (besides Zant and Midna, those two are awesome) it was like Zelda II tons of characters none with anything interesting to say (even their version of Zelda and Ganondorf were dull to the fullest) now SS its more closer to OoT, MM, And WW in the terms of characters interaction and thats something I like. If something disappointed me in SS is the lack variety on its dungeons ambients and that I feel it had little variety on enemy design.

Skyward Sword has the same problem with the non-human characters. It seems all focus went to the humans and the other races were just... there.
Okay the Mogmas had a good thing going but the Parrellas were pathetic. Why didn't they just keep Zoras? We never get to see a single home or town on the surface which was a great disappointment to me.
Although I know Nintendo killed those things for our "convenience" I still wanted to see little Goron homes somewhere!

The thing that bothered me about Skyward Sword was that there was no real overworld. It didn't really feel like there was anywhere to explore, since we ended up covering the ground pretty thoroughly as part of the main story anyway.
But I did think the dungeons were fantastic, and the small variety of enemies is pretty standard for a Zelda game.

I think I may have come across a small glitch in my game (and I have already used the downloaded patch but nothing seems to have changed)
Late in the game, I'm up to the (SPOILERS)dragon song collection, got the first 2 songs, now in Faron collecting Tadtones, there's 1 yellowy/orange left but the it appears to be stuck under a lilipad with sharp damaging spikes, tried doing the spinning underwater move next to it and it won't attract, tried using a bomb, firing arrows/pellets, blowing, clawshotting, and even getting one of them big fish to try charging into it, but it doesn't work (END)
What do I do?

That's not a glitch. I got a little stuck there too.
Here's a hint: [spoilers]Remember how you turned lily pads over in the water temple? Do the same thing here.[/spoilers]
Here's the solution: [spoilers]Get up on the tree. There's an area up over the lily pad. Jump down onto it from there to turn it over and free the tadtone.[/spoilers]

Thanks Nester, your hint did the trick.
My only fault with Zelda games seems to be forgetting minor things from earlier in the game, for use later in the game*. Ealier in the game I saw the "ledge location" and thought that ledge like something I could jump off but there was nothing to jump on to (today, after the water went down I found a goddess cube by jumping off the side of it) but I never thought about it when the water rose up. (END)
* forgetting that the Gale Boomerang in TP can put out fires was something I forgot at the very end of TP
Also went and finally checked the super guide feature to see what it was about and it actually the video hint of the solution as well. (no I didn't save the game after seeing that)

Finally completed the game at probably a little over 50 hours. My thoughts (with spoilers!) (start) - The games design choice of reuseing areas and changing them up/opening them up when revisting them is interesting, and probably saves dev time instead of having to make area's that will only have to be used once. Also being able to access "The Lightning Round" boss ruch and Slient Realm challenges was quite nice to see . . .
But then reusing/recycling becomes annoying when you have to fight the Imprisoned 3 times. When I found out I would have to fight a 3rd time, I just went fuck it and loaded up on Stamina+ and Invinciblity + potion (both certainly outlasted the battle). I did try to change it up using different weapons like the bow to attack it, but still I think I would have liked it more if it wasn't 3 "defend the X" mission or you get a game over, instead of the standard "kill it before it kills you/don't die" boss fight.
Other thoughts
The 3 ground regions of the game feel sort of like this
Faron- Standard Zelda experience (Slingshot, does serve as a nice intro to the land below and sword play intro) Eldin- Refined/improved Zelda experiece (eg picking up bomb flowers without any bracelet item to do so, get the bomb bang to carry said flowers) Lanayaru- Completely different/original/new Zelda experience or HOLY FUCKING SHIT LOOK AT WHAT AMAZING STUFF THE YOUNG CHAPS IN DEV CAME UP WITH, LETS PUT IT IN THE GAME BECAUSE IT IS AWESOME! TIME CRYSTALS AND ROBO MONKEYS OH MY! And that's just the start, huh what this A PIRATE ROBO MONKEY WITH A MOSTAUCHE!
Good
-Sword motion controls are good, hardest thing to get used to is moving you sword slowly into position without accidently slashing.
-The beetle was an awesome item addition to the game.
-NPC character development was nice, though I wished I could have done something for Cawlin after his major downer.
-Good to see a boss rush mode, and access to Slient Realm missions. Slitent Realm was also a lot better than the "Twilight tears" collection quest from TP and other stealth segments were good too.
-Bug catching and item crafting was a great addition to the game, as well as the new inventory system
-Dowsing, it's a wonderful feature, removes the frustation of having to "blindly" search for something but still keeps some of the challenge in pinpointing it's location
Bad (but it's not that bad)
-Stabbing with the sword appears to actually have a delay, making certain ememy fights harder because of it, eg Skullta (early game one nearly killed me), Beamos (early game before bow).
-Fighting The Imprisoned 3 times seemed a bit much, really don't like fighting (roughly ) the same boss 3 times in the same game (or any game). It also feels annoying that the boss rush, is 1/3 Imprisoned. At least the Ghirham fights felt different each time.
-Congratulations you got/caught a Insect/Treasure name here! STOP telling me that info whenever I start up a new gameplay session, who the hell could have (in development) thought THAT was good idea?
Odd stuff
-Getting the Sturdy Sheild from boss rush mode involves fighting 8/9 bosses instead of 9/9? Shouldn't that be the other way around?
-Wished there could have been more interaction with other flying NPC Skyloft riders. Come on, can't I get some dialogue/banter or a minigame out of them?
-The fact the game has to have a seperate "Skyloft" and "Sky" area, shouldn't the Wii have the power to render both areas at the same time seamlessly instead of having to clearly load each one up? resulting in a empty (of NPCs) Skyloft when flying over it with your Loftwing. And also having "fixed" landing points over Skyloft as well.
-Harp, didn't seem that great to be honest, (sweep your hand from side to side with the right timing, wooooooooo)
-The Shy area itself felt a little lifeless/bland, could have used another urban area. Even the islands of Windwaker had some optional "puzzle" islands
-Was it me or the minigame in this feel a little more "luck" based? Eg minesweeperRupee Dig game, High Dive, Sword Cut.
-Did anyone else empty out Beedle's store before getting the 1/2 price reward or was it just me?
-Whip was nice, but it felt a little lacking outside of it's dungeon.
-Fi, I only found her annoying in terms of "batteries low/health low message played.
Sad stuff
-Pirate robo monkey (with a mo), never did he see his family back home . . . ?(end) Also I'm going to post a link to a relevant Skyward Sword comic from Awkward Zombie.

I haven't finished the game yet... I just finished the first dungeon about 2 or 3 weeks ago... so far it looks good... but sometimes I get bored with it that I haven't played it for days. It just feels like Nintendo is trying too hard to be so epic with the latest Zelda games.

Was anybody else reminded of this artwork in the last moments of the game?
