Well, this just came up this morning and I'll let the quote speak for itself. "In the same vein of Team Ninja working with Nintendo to re-imagine Metroid, what development group would your readers love to see partner and collaborate with Nintendo? And on what franchise?" Reggie. Source (bottom of page). So people, which 3rd party would you like Nintendo to work with next? (SO MANY CHOICESSSS!) My picks would be either be Valve, High Voltage Software or Square Enix.

Work with....Capcom.
.....On another fighting game.
....and call it Nintendo vs. Capcom. ;D
Seriously though. I've always wanted to see Nintendo work with every big-name developer at least once. Capcom making a Mario game? Konami making a Zelda game? Those guys who are making Scribblenauts working on a Kirby game even?

Nintendo Vs. Capcom... *drool* I'd die a happy man that day.
Anyway, I'd love Platinum Games to team up with Nintendo and do something really fascinating with an established property. They could make an incredible Zelda game, or perhaps resurrect Takamaru and wrap him in a glorious Okami-like atmosphere.

Reggie listening to people?
Well lets see... Um...
Capcom does sound good but I'd also like to see SEGA work on another F-Zero game.

Nintendo vs. Capcom FTW! I'd like to see Konami do Kid Icarus like how they did Castlevania: Symphony of the Night... I can only imagine Pit travelling around Angel Land - Underworld, Overworld, Skyworld, and Palutena's Palace. I think Nintendo should let Rare make a DKC2-like game with the Ice Climbers. They are perfect for utilizing team moves in platforming levels. I'd like Square Enix to make Zelda like how they do Chocobo's Quest - maybe Cojiro's Quest starring the blue Cucco from OOT. That'd be amazing! ;D Oh, and they should let Harmonix make Meowth's Party a real game. Guitar Hero with Pokemon? Awesome.

See, silly me, I thought High Voltage died. Weren't they the ones responsible for Lego Racers?

Now that I think of it, Taito (now part of Square-Enix) could've given Toad his own game in the same mold as either Puzzle Bobble or Pocky & Rocky.
Why do that when they can just...um...I dunno... give us another goddamn DKC game entirely?
Cojiro? Seriously? Cojiro?

IP crossover-wise they should team up with Capcom or Konami for sure.
Have GRIN remake any Nintendo IP that needs remaking. Like, I dunno, Earthbound. It's not like they'll ever bother editing the original game for release (like Konami did with Parodius 3 for PSP), might aswell remake the whole bloody thing. Bionic Commando Rearmed is a remake DONE RIGHT, so if I trust any company to do a good job, it'd be GRIN.

Don't get me wrong, I love the DKC games but Ice Climber needs to be revived. They have been in Smash since Melee and they still don't have a new game while Little Mac was just an Assist Trophy in Brawl and he got a new game last month already. I see that Ice Climber has a lot of potential. Enemies would be Topis, seals, polar bears, condors, plus the fish from Balloon Fight and many more - like how most of the DKC enemies were different kinds of crocodiles. Collect vegetables like you do with bananas in DKC. Stages could be varied - snowy mountains, icy caverns, cloudy summits, arctic seas, snowy woodlands, snowy vegetable farmlands, igloo-like fortresses, and icy volcanos. It could be a good DS or WiiWare game.
What's wrong with Cojiro? He's cool. The game could be like a comedic spin-off game like Tingle's RPG game. Maybe Cojiro commands an army of Cuccos of different colors (with different strengths and weaknesses) to fight classic Zelda monsters as they travel around Hyrule collecting Stray Fairies to save the Great Fairies so they can help open paths to new areas and the Cuccos must collect Skulltula Tokens so they can save Kakariko Village and Lon Lon Ranch from the curse that turned everyone into spiders. It would be the kind of game that makes you go LOLWUT.

Cojiro was an item in one game. Now he suddenly deserves to appear in a rip-off of the Chocobo games? And Ice Climber doesn't "need' a revival. It would be nice to have, but not absolute. I certainly don't think the people who belong working on DK again should be the ones to revive it. If anything, they should get those guys 8bitshit just mentioned to do it.

Capcom x Nintendo = Urban Champion Ultimate Brawl
Make the worst Nintendo game into one of the best.

So what if Cojiro was in one game? I just thought it would be fun to have a Zelda spin-off game where you play as a Cucco. I thought that Cojiro should be the protagonist because it is the only Cucco with a name. Oh, and the Cuccos have been a staple of the Zelda games since ALTTP so maybe that should warrant some sort of "deserveness" for a spin-off game. It is just a suggestion, there's no need to get your pants in a twist over the idea of a Cucco game.

I LOVE the Konami + Kid Icarus = Kidvania: Symphony of Palutena idea. Fucking GENIUS. If I had to pick an ultimate dream game, that would be it. Easily. Kid Icarus in the Castlevania "RPG" mold is absolutely a perfect way to revive the franchise. That all said, I would personally want to see Nintendo work with either Valve, Nippon Ichi/Atlus, or Ubisoft. Valve x Nintendo = Team Fortress-like shooter on Wii, maybe wrapped around a franchise such as Wild Gunman, Gumshoe, or Hogan's Alley. C'mon: a Team Fortress-style game with mobsters, spies, and cowboys? On the Wii? That's just begging to be made. Nippon Ichi/Atlus x Nintendo = Tactical RPG, obviously, that may be used to revive an older franchise. I can see this being done with Famicom Wars (make it more character-centric) or Fire Emblem (just for the niche of it being made by Nippon Ichi), but personally I think something even more classic/out there would be better. A few ideas I've had: Time Twist, where the story is expanded to include the hero amassing characters from all over time/space; Marvellous, basically just the three boys + SRPG; Power Soukoban, which may be too similar to Disgaea but still cool; and Nazo no Murasamejou, basically feudal Japan SRPG with Takamaru as hero. I could see games like BattleClash, Magical Vacation or Pokemon also falling into this mold, either of which offering a really good "challenge" to design in the frame of a SRPG. Ubisoft x Nintendo = Fancypants Action Game, for which I've thought of three franchises once again: Star Tropics, done similar to a Prince of Persia or Tomb Raider-like game; Nazo no Murasamejou, again, which this time would focus on fast-paced sword action; or Urban Champion, which could become something of a sandbox game if done the right way. ...there's a lot of directions they can go with this. I wonder if Nintendo, and Reggie, are actually seriously about this
