Don't know if this will even be illegible for NinDB but Taiko Drum Master Wii 3 will have NSMB Wii Mario cameos (and Mario music) and also Pokemon music in it. Source. There was also a Takio Drum Master DS game that had SMB NES cameos.

Not sure if it counts anymore, but the second level in DKCR is called King of Cling, a pretty obvious pun on the King of Swing series.

One of the coolest throwbacks in DKCR is a music track made up of remixes of the DK Jr. themes.

In the other thread I mentioned a level that seemed based off of the original Donkey Kong. Here it is- same level that has the Mr. Game and Watch cameo.
You can see it in the background about a half minute in.
There is another level that makes extensive use of DK style girders, but that's kinda ehhh as a cameo,

The Billy Mitchell one is... wow. He's an ascended Meme now. And yes, the tie is iconic enough to stand as a Billy Mitchell cameo- he's rarely seen at events without it.
The Crocomire one is ehhh. I *see* it, but would I if it hadn't been pointed out? Probably not. Though, I wouldn't doubt there is a Metroid cameo somewhere, given Retro's history with the games. However, the little hook at the end of Crocomire's mouth is on it. Hm... (If anybody can't see it, it's in the background right after the 25M is shown in the background)
And sorry, Megabyte! I'd actually looked for that post when you pointed it out in that other thread, but overlooked it since it was a one line mention.

I wouldn't really count this as a cameo, as much as it would be just something to note:
The Mimic bush enemies in the sunset level of DKCR (in World 1) make noises similar to the Deku Scrubs from Zelda.
