Please I want the one from the left to be the grass starter. It looks really cool, silhouettew-wise.

From my perspective: - The left one's tail could either be leaves/petals, scales or a flame. - The top one's head resembles leaves, but we've seen that shape in Torchic's feathers too. - The right one, I don't know.
If I were in charge of designing new starters, I'd make the Water-type one a mix of some animal with geysers or geothermal water, and the Fire-type one an animal that produces fireworks (come on, fireworks are ancient, beautiful and mighty!).

Those are too perfectly shaped to be flames. Also I'm hoping the top one isn't the Grass starter because well...

An anteater, a pig and some weird thing with rings on its neck.
I'm gonna go ahead and bet it's grass - fire - water from left to right.

Thing on the right seems like some sort of beaver, which I would guess makes it water. Top looks like a rabbit to me, but I assume the things on its head are leaves rather than ears, so i guess a grass pig would work. And I have no idea whatsoever the first is. All I can see is a duck wearing a scarf, which would be super neato but it won't be it.

It's Grass-Fire-Water, like it has always been. They ALWAYS show shadows in that order.
Top one is most likely a pig/wild boar. Fire's been overdue for another mammal.
Grass... another lizard? That would bug me a lot though. I like the bird ideas floating around: peacock, wood duck, etc. Watch us be surprised and it's a weasel or something.
Water bugs me. It clearly looks like it could be a beaver or an otter, both things we got LAST generation. How uncreative! A platypus would be fantastic, but we already have platypodes in Psyduck/Golduck, and they're quite clearly already based on that creature too... My only other guesses are that it could be some sort of cat or bear made to look aquatic OR a terrestrial seal-type thing.
We'll know in a week. The suspense is killing me :/

Is it just me, or do all three silhouettes resemble previous Pokemon? The one on the left is Milotic, the one in the middle is Turtwig and Spoink, and the one on the right is a strangled Bidoof (as Bidoof should be!). I dunno, I hope the grass starter is a duck. Ducks are cool, and I may actually like a Grass starter for once! That said, I wonder if Gamefreaks is going to do the same thing they did with 4Gen and give each starter a secondary type that neutralizes its defensive weaknesses and strengths against each other? A platypus would be fantastic, but we already have platypodes in Psyduck/Golduck, and they're quite clearly already based on that creature too... No, I think Psyduck and Golduck are just ducks, because they don't have a platypus' tail...

It's Grass-Fire-Water, like it has always been. They ALWAYS show shadows in that order. You mean unshadowed? Can't remember the last time the starters were first shown as shadows. It's interesting you guys see a beak or snout in the left Pokémon. The first thing I saw was a head reminiscent of Celebi's or Cresselia's.

(I'd be cool with TV Eye's pic, Pokemon needs tanukis)

Problem is association. I don't see it happening with the Tanuki being Fire since they're associated with leaves, as such Grass.

Found this on the internet. What's that on the right? Aquariass the water burro?

Saw this one somewhere else. See? See? Duck with scarf! And the other two are super cool too, it would be great if this was true. It won't be, though.
