Not only that, but look at their tails - water monkey is Clubs, fire monkey is Spades, grass monkey is Hearts. Some elemental (electric? ground?) do no evil fourth monkey, with a diamond tail confirmed? Heh, good eye. I just noticed that myself as well. Well, if that's supposed to be a heart shape on its tail, then it looks rather awkward for one. And I'm not entirely sure about a fourth in this bunch. Grass, Fire, and Water seems like the most established type grouping there is (the starter trio), so it would be hard to decide on which fourth type to go with for this. Electric may actually be a good idea though. So if a fourth monkey comes in (mmm, maybe, maybe not...), that may well be it. EDIT: More info! - Two fossils- turtle and bird.
pair of bug/steel (spider and bug with knight's armor), grass/steel and steel/dark.
- 7 new Poison types. Including a three step line, a two step mushroom and a pure poison type and its evo.
- There is a Grass/Steel Pokemon that looks like a metal ball with green spikes. When it evolves tentacles come out.
- 7 new ice types, including a polar bear.
- New typeings include fire/ghost, water/ghost and fighting/dark.
- No evolutions from older Pokemon.
Cool beans. The 4th gen went way overboard on that later into it. Now, I'm holding out for a Dark/Electric type. I'm surprised that didn't happen for Luxray...

Boy I tell ya it seems like yesterday we were waiting on Gen 4. The only difference is I don't remember people being this hyped up.

Man, they really are drawing a lot of Western references here. Wonder what's next, a Pokemon based on the Pied Piper, using its hypnotic music to draw others towards it and lure them into traps as it pleases? Preferably a Psychic type.

Gonna guess that's either the second stage polar bear, or the Porthos legendary. The lantern Pokemon.

the polar bear pre-evo is supposed to be a baby polar bear with "a giant snot." I can't wait to see it. Also, I hope the shiny is purple- there was a hilarious case a few years ago where a purple had an allergic reaction to some drug at a zoo and turned purple. That was the only thing that was wrong with it, thankfully- which makes it hilarious. Also:605: Green Alien Pokémon. Big oval head, this mark on head (http://bit.ly/bHwabq ) and small body. Weird. Pure Psychic Type. 606: Pokémon Alien Brown. Head large trapezoidal (UFO style) brand in the head and small body. Something bigger. Psychic type.

Sorry for the double post, but here's the fighting trio's silhouettes. Athos, Portos (The corpulent one) and Aramis (the elegant one). Wonder why we didn't get a D'artagnan based one? The Athos, Portos and Aramis Pokemon. 615: Hexagonal Mirror Pokémon. Front part of mirror features an angry face full of hate. Pure Ice Type

Athos, Portos (The corpulent one) and Aramis (the elegant one). Wonder why we didn't get a D'artagnan based one? Hey, there's always the chance of a Regigigas-like future thing Footage with the version-exclusive Grass-type Pokémon shown in CoroCoro.

So the evil mastermind is an aztec shaman wearing a powerlevel scanner. I hope his english name is CATS I'm not sure he's the big boss though. But he could be. Gym Leader page in the manual - First Gym: Grass, Fire or Water. Leaders: Dento, Poddo and Koon
- Second Gym: Normal. Leader: Aloe
- Third Gym: Bug (Beetle Badge)
- Fourth Gym: Electric. Leader: Kamitsure (Bolt Badge)
- Fifth Gym: Ground. Leader: Yakon (Quake Badge)
- Sixth Gym: Flying. Leader: Fuuro (Jet Badge)
- Seventh Gym: Ice. Leader: Hachiku (Icicle Badge)
- Eighth Gym: Dragon. Leader: Iris (Legend Badge)
So Iris is a Gym Leader!! Just like Misty. I wonder when will Ash learn it given that she's the last one.
