Baokki (Partially based off of Elvis Aron Presley) Hiyakki (Partially based on Rastafarinism) Koaruhi & Swanna (May be based off of Hans Christian Anderson's the Ugly Duckling story) These I don't see. And if you wanna get into western influenced Pokemon, the design choices of some (Eagle, vulture, bison) represent animals seen only in western areas (bison are only found in North America, I believe).

#631 Kuitaran and #632 Aianto are the fire aardvark and the bug/steel ant! Something tells me that they are the new Zangoose and Seviper of the 5th gen.

I thought the same exact thing. Though, I'd expect it to be different, since one is the hunter and the other one is the hunted. Not exactly blood-feud-ish... I hope they start leaking attacks soon... I REALLY want a Special Attack Dragon Dance

I also wanted to say something about #615 Furiijio... just what the fuck is that? Is that supposed to be Missingno or something?

Definitely the strangest of the batch. My guess would be Snowflake, and I have a hunch that would explain the extremely weak defense. It would also explain Levitate.
Still, I can't make heads or tails of it... does it even have a face?

I have a theory why 589 and 616 look so related. We might have a Shelder Slowpoke relationship going on here. Perhaps when 616 evolves it leaves it's shell behind then 588 picks it up and uses it as it's own armor.

You could be right... it kinda resembles a snowflake. Wait a minute... I think I could see the face now... You see the two long threads of snowballs at the bottom? I think that could be the mustache. Do you see two light blue orbs above the "mustache"? I think they could be the Pokemon's eyes.

Good theory but it doesn't explain where the Steel type comes from. 616 and 617 are pure bug. 588 is pure bug but 589 is bug-steel. If 588 picks up the shell left behind by 616, how did the shell turn 588 into bug-steel at 589 when the shell didn't make 616 bug-steel in the first place?

You guys are talking interesting stuff! That Ice-type Pokémon seems to be a face itself to me, too. It'd be good friends with Glalie! Unless of course it's some sort of "Rorschach Pokémon" and only Arcadenik and I are seeing a face ;D Some more statistics: total of Pokémon per type Type | Amount | Pure | Families/standalone | Legendaries | Poison | 7 | (2 pure Poison) | (3 families) | (0 legendaries) | Ice | 7 | 6 | 4 | 1 | Ghost | 9 | 2 | 4 | 0 | Dragon | 10 | 4 | 6 | 3 | Rock | 10 | 3 | 5 | 1 | Electric | 11 | 5 | 6 | 1 | Ground | 11 | 1 | 6 | 1 | Steel | 12 | 3 | 8 | 2 | Fighting | 15 | 7 | 10 | 4 | Psychic | 15 | 10 | 7 | 2 | Fire | 15 | 9 | 8 | 2 | Dark | 16 | 4 | 7 | 0 | Normal | 17 | 9 | 9 | 1 | Water | 17 | 8 | 9 | 1 | Flying | 18 | 1 | 11 | 3 | Bug | 18 | 3 | 9 | 1 | Grass | 20 | 10 | 10 | 1 |

What seems interesting about that pokemon is that it looks like it can "open" up in 6 parts. The top looks like it has 3 segments closed, while the bottom looks like it has the other 3 open.
I guess those two big glowing Orbs could be the eyes, though idk what the 2 lower lines of smaller orbs could be.

There are a few facts (character- or plot-related mostly) that I'd consider spoilers, but these are some I don't think anybody here minds. This is from Serebii: - In regards to leaks, a new image has come out advertising some new TCG cards, part of a promo set due for release next month. This image shows that if you purchase these promo sets, you'll get a code similar to the one in Pokémon Pia last week which will allow you the download of Turtwig, Chimchar or Piplup via the Pokémon Global Link. Like the Kanto Starters, these Pokémon will have new abilities as well.
Partial list of TMs in the game: TM02: Dragon Claw, TM03: Psycho Shock, TM05: Roar, TM09: Venom Shock, TM10: Hidden Power, TM13: Ice Beam, TM15: Hyper Beam, TM17: Protect, TM22: Solar Beam, TM28: Dig, TM29: Psychic, TM30: Shadow Ball, TM31: Brick Break, TM36: Sludge Bomb, TM39: Rock Tomb, TM41: Torment, TM42: Facade, TM43: Nitro Charge, TM44: Rest, TM45: Attract, TM46: Thief, TM53: Energy Ball, TM54: False Swipe, TM55: Boiling Water, TM56: Fling, TM57: Charge Beam, TM58: Free Fall, TM61: Will-O'-Wisp, TM62: Acrobat, TM66: Payback, TM67: Get Even, TM68: Giga Impact, TM70: Flash, TM72: Volt Change, TM76: Bug Resistance, TM78: Smooth Over, TM79: Ice Breath, TM80: Rock Throw, TM81: X-Scissor, TM82: Dragon Tail, TM83: Cheer Up, TM84: Poison Jab, TM86: Grass Knot, TM89: U-Turn, TM91: Flash Cannon, TM93: Wild Bolt, TM94: Rock Smash

, how did the shell turn 588 into bug-steel at 589 when the shell didn't make 616 bug-steel in the first place? Because its Pokemon? You do know that the Shellder on Slowbro's tail looks nothing like a Shellder either, right? BUT ZOMG WHAT HAPPENED?

^ I remember there was one episode of the Pokemon anime where Professor Oak even had trouble figuring that out.

I totally see the face in the snowflake too. Weird fact: When Melkor described it, he described it as an ice mirror with an evil face. Sounds exactly like an Okami enemy, the Ice Doom Mirror. Wonder if they are based on a common source?
Kaburuchi and Chobomaki trade shells when traded- this explains their evolutions shells. Also, all of the stones are used.
allegedly, Hihidaruma goes into a secondary form when it goes beneath half health.

Rock Smash is a TM now? GOOD FUCKING RIDDANCE. God I hope they replace it with something more practical.
And also I still want HMs to be changeable on the fly.
