Given his name, I'm betting he has a ball or something in his later forms. Like the rocks real otters use to break shells. Maybe he'll be water/rock. That would be interesting. Plus Water/Rock wouldn't unbalance the starter triangle much. Here's more details by Serebii.net: - Zoroark has an ability called Illusion (イリュージョン) which will allow it to transform into various Pokémon. How it differs from the move Transform remains to be seen.
- Two new attacks have been announced;
- A move called Trickery (イカサマ) seems to allow the attack to be calculated using the opponent's stats - Another move called Claw Sharpen (つめとぎ) raises the user's Attack and Accuracy stats
- The special event activated by the special Raikou, Entei & Suicune given with the upcoming movie; Phantom Champion Zoroark has been detailled. In this event, when you bring the beasts (it is unclear if it's all three or just one)to the game, a special battle will occur. This battle is against a Level 25 Zoroark which will transform into the various Pokémon. At many points, it will break its transformation to allow you to capture it.
Serebii.net warns much of that info is unconfirmed, but it's proving true as they get more scans (such as one that confirms Zorua has that ability too). I'm sure Illusion and those moves are going to make Zoroark better than the average pure Dark-type Pokémon. About Claw Sharpen, that's going to be a very interesting move. Not counting the random-driven Acupressure and the Call command from Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, it's actually the first time a move will be able to raise the user's Accuracy stat. And since nobody has done it yet: at Mijumaru

I gotta say, so far, they all look like ass. I'm currently thinking that the pig will end up with the best final form, but I may be wrong, and if so, well, crap. But, as mentioned before, I wanna see the final forms before I make my judgment, especially since the juvenile forms look like ass to me.

I don't know even the grass starter is a little too... frilly... Maybe if he didn't have those things on his shoulders.

More on Zoroark's ability: We also appear to have some clarification on the new ability Illusion. The official site states Zoroark will appear as a different Pokémon when it enters battle. The name of the opponent is different to hide the fact that it is Zoroark, but the type remains Dark. It also appears that the sprites move slightly when attacking. To what extent remains unclear. We also have a name of the bridge, Sky Arrow Bridge which connects Hiun City to another city

That Fire Starters english name? Pignition. Calling it now.
(Not that it matters. I'm picking that otter thing and naming it Derp anyways.)

Adam, that is the greatest name ever. If that doesn't end up its name, I'm naming mine that. Pignition, that is.

The official web site's been updated with more views of the city they showed earlier. I certainly curious about that ship...

YES Seems like the game takes place in a really densely populated area. All of the scans so far show the main character walking around huge cities or suburbs. Plus one of the magazine scans was comparing the world map of previous games to... a picture of a huge city. Though maybe that's because the world map hasn't been released yet. Anyway with Isshu being 'far away' from previous areas makes me think it's supposed to take place in a Pokemon version of Manhattan or something.

If it were Manhatten, that would fit in with the bridge connecting it to another city. I'd actually like to see them make an Eagleland style version of America- they already sorta started with Orre in Coliseum , which was based on Arizona.

I certainly curious about that ship... The S.S. Tidal? DryRuby and DampSapphire will be obligatory now. This issue of CoroCoro mentions that another new Pokémon will be revealed in June. Maybe the legendary mascots of this generation? Or additional Pokémon to appear in the Zoroark movie?

I dunno about Manhatten. All in all, the Pokemon World Map is pretty lacking, featuring little more than the two islands of Hokkaido and Kyushu, and besides that only a geographically tiny portion of Honshu, namely the Kanto and (if I'm not mistaken) Kansai regions. They have alot more of Japan and/or the Pacific they can cover, so I see this region as possibly being somewhere quite possibly not a part of Japan, but perhaps still in the Pacific Rim. It may even be California.

Personally, I think these two starters look a bit better like this...
