I hope he does Magmar too... What IS Magmar anyway? A fiery duck?

A Booby. The Japanese names for all of the Magmar family refer to the bird.

I can't tell if you are being serious or not. If you are... God help your soul.

Obviously not! Can't you see I spelled "they're" wrong?

Man, I must have some sort of their/they're blindness lately. Might be the most common typo I make that I can't blame on typing.

Magmar's head is clearly a butt, anyway.

Obviously not! Can't you see I spelled "they're" wrong? I'm not sure I believe you, but that was a good defense Magmar's head is clearly a butt, anyway. Speaking of which, Stunky is definitely a skunk crossed with buttocks. Just look at its cheeks and listen to its and Skuntank's cries. We did discuss it 4 years ago, didn't we?

A new article has been written, and it's about Mew, an easter egg Pokémon that was also the first event Pokémon in the franchise. Hutcheon explains how Mew's resemblance to an embryo could suppport the Pokédex theory that it's "the ancestor of all Pokémon" if paying attention to the classic recapitulation theory.

Very interesting run down of Mew's history, and the awesome oddness of 19th century biology.
Wonder if he will cover Mewtwo?

Mew's tail resembling an umbilical cord wasn't mentioned, but he compared the bubble that Mew is often depicted inside in various media to a uterus.
Speaking of Mew, there's currently a demo of Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs on the Nintendo Channel. It features a mission solely about capturing Mew (for demo purposes only; not a transferable Pokémon).

A Halloween special has been written, and it covers Shuppet and Banette, with a little bit more than we at this forum had discussed.

I actually feel proud of my article about Shuppet and Bannete now- I hit almost all the major notes aside from the bit about Shuppets living under eeves. Coulda put in the stuff about the doll funeral and the HGSS Banette. Oh well, there's always time for editing my .doc!
It goes without saying that that was an excellent piece, BTW.

The part about electrical appliances reminded me of Rotom.
