And it's a very nice box.

I have some good news for you guys concerned about the lack of animal buddies.
I think this may only be the beginning.

The level design in this game REALLY reminds me of the old Crash Bandicoot levels.

I think this may only be the beginning. Seeing as Rambi's crate was marked with his face, there's bound to be more of them than just him. Mighty foolish if there aren't. EDIT: A couple new screenshots.

See why can't DK's arms be their proper length like in that artwork?

Is it me, or does Rambi look kinda stoned? Oh, and Enguarde better be in this game....

Not sure how he would, since they already confirmed that there's no water levels.

Damn it, I liked the water levels (Poisonous Pipeline excluded).

The new renders make DK look simplified and a bit stubbier and less "limber" than more recent depictions have gone for.
Also, loving the stoned Rambi ;D

Actually, I'm glad there aren't any underwater levels, because that would detract from the fast-pacing that this game seems to offer.
I reckon Enguarde still seems to have some hope. Maybe in a jet ski-style surface-riding water part, similar to that motorboat part in Wave Man's level in Mega Man 5.

Nothing, actually. It's just one simple omission here. Just because this game doesn't copy and paste everything from the first installment doesn't mean the series is broken/ruined.
