For the Toy Story 3 game, they just left the licensed characters out of the story. It was pretty jarring having no Barbie, Ken or Mr. Potato Head in a plot that featured them as main characters originally, but that's likely the way they'd go with this too. Oh I see, alright I guess there shouldn't be any problem then. I wonder if we will see any Square Enix characters in the movie? Considering the fact that SE makes the Kingdom Hearts games and all...

Some people are saying they saw Sam & Max in the trailer. That's actually quite likely, since their creator has been working at Pixar (and by extension, Disney) since Cars.

Oh, boy! Parrothead is going to have a field day with this movie. ;D
I don't know about Square Enix characters, especially Kingdom Hearts characters... did Square Enix ever made arcade games when they were Squaresoft and Enix?
Anyway, the fact Bowser is there tells me there must be either VS. Super Mario Bros. or Mario Kart Arcade GP at Litwak's Family Fun Center. Unless Nintendo wasn't stingy with their characters, it might be possible that there are other Nintendo characters besides Bowser in Wreck-It Ralph. I am listing the the well-known Nintendo arcade games and throwing in a couple obscure titles.
- Donkey Kong - Donkey Kong Jr. - Donkey Kong 3 - Mario Bros. - Punch-Out!! (it would be interesting to see Little Mac as a green wire frame fighter) - Super Punch-Out!! - VS. Balloon Fight (they might throw this one in since Balloon Fight is in Nintendo Land) - VS. Duck Hunt (how many people wanted to see the dog get shot?) - VS. Ice Climber (they might throw this one in since Ice Climber's only claim to fame was being in Smash Bros.) - F-Zero AX (who wants to see Captain Falcon do his Falcon Punch on the big screen?)
It's not a lot but it should be enough to get Nintendo, Smash, and arcade fans excited.

The characters aren't specific to arcades... Eggman and Bowser have both appeared in arcade games, but only incredibly obscure ones, and people have spotted characters in Game Central Station who have never appeared in an arcade game. EDIT: My girlfriend just pointed out what appears to be a Moogle in the background of this still. Up from the cherry he's holding out.

I was always under the impression it was the other way around, guess not. EDIT: My girlfriend just pointed out what appears to be a Moogle in the background of this still. Up from the cherry he's holding out. Yeah, I think I see it too. Also, after watching the trailer again, I only now noticed that Dr. Willy was missing from the Bad Guy thearpy. Hmmm, I wondered what happened? Maybe it was the result of a certain company whose name starts with a C and ends with a M. Meh, I'm just being silly but seriously though, it wouldn't surprise me if they were behind it.

Maybe it was the result of a certain company whose name starts with a C and ends with a M. Hey, yeah. He was next to Bowser in that early screen of the scene, right? Weird... Capcom clearly haven't removed their support from the movie, since I'm counting at least three Street Fighter characters in there. Maybe it's all part of their current strategy of pretending Mega Man never existed.

Kirbychu, there are at least three Street Fighter characters in the movie. Zangief, M. Bison, and Chun-Li.
If I am not mistaken but isn't that yellow dinosaur from Primal Rage? And I am at loss as of who that sun in the blue pants and red bowtie is.

No, the dinosaur is from Meet the Robinsons. It's a Disney cameo, not a video game one.

It feels funny that a lot of the information from my post is being repeated as if nobody read it Well, when mentioned House of the Dead zombie with axes, I thought you were just referring to them in general, because it's the only zombie game I can think of where there are zombies with axes. I posted the link to show that it was in fact based on a specific zombie from the first game.

Well, it's good to see this thread get updated, and see discussion happen. There's also the Wreck-It Ralph browser game for those interested. disney.go.com/wreck-it-ralph/#/fixitfelix(And yes the T-Rex is from Meet the Robinsons if you need anymore proof)Don't know what's happened with Disney (Channel) lately but it seems like since the sucess of Phineas & Ferb they have finally started greenlighting more new animated series. Apart from Tron Uprising which I'm posted about before here's Motorcity and Gravity Falls Motorcity, has the some of the team that made Megas XLR working on it. And it's also made in Flash and looks really good. (The bad guy Abraham Kane is voiced by Mark Hamill!) Gravity Falls, "The show concerns the adventures of twin siblings Dipper and Mabel Pines, whose summer plans are ruined when their parents ship them off to their Great-Uncle ("Grunkle") Stan in Gravity Falls, Oregon. Stan lives in and runs The Mystery Shack, a tourist trap which overcharges unlucky visitors for a glimpse at the world's most bizarre museum, but little do Dipper and Mabel know that there really is something very strange going on, and they must rely on each other to find their way in this unfamiliar town." (Tv Tropes summary) Also has a really nice title sequnce with some great music.
And for those watching The Legend of Korra, the 2 part series finale will air this weekend. (This season is only 12 episodes long, so you only near to watch 10 episodes by than . . .) Though I do highly recommend that watch Avatar:TLA if you havn't seen TLoK yet. Pic slightly related. Avachar, the last Bulbender: Legend of Squorra

I'm really looking forward to all of those upcoming Disney shows! Phineas & Ferb is already my favourite thing on TV right now, I loved the first episode of Tron, and though I was put off by it being Flash animation... Motorcity is surprisingly gorgeous! Maybe I can learn to like Flash animation if it's done this well. Gravity Falls looks fun, too. At this rate I may not have time to watch Cartoon Network at all any more.

Here's a Motorcity Animation Preview: How a scene goes from rough animation to composite. Motorcity is animated with a combination of Flash, Maya and After Effects – with backgrounds and other elements created in Photoshop. 1) Mike and Chuck explore the auto parts store: This features some really subtle character animation by supervising animator Mike Roush. It showcases how the motion of the floating screen was animated in Flash, then used as a guide by lead compositor Steve Kellener to swap out with screens generated in After Effects. 2) Deleted scene from the first episode: This is a sequence that was taken all the way to completion, only to be cut from the episode at the very end. It’s features Jacob swooping in to save Mike and Chuck in his ride, Sasquatch. Character animation by Albert Pardo. 3) Taking down the Ultra Golems : This features a heavy integration of 3D vehicle animation and 2D effects. Having grown up on a steady diet of Japanese anime, Edward Artinian is our 2D effects guru. Keith Yan handled the complex integration of all elements in the composite stage. 4) Mutant HOUND attacks Mutt: Directed by Juno Lee, the sequence from this episode combines one of the most ambitious combinations of 2D and 3D animation in the series. The impeccable design hand of Brandon Cuellar brought not only the vehicles, but the HOUND to life. 5) Tooley Fight: Animated by Jeremy Polgar, this sequence showcases just how full the “tradigital” animation is being pushed in the series. 6) Texas confronts Kane: In this dream sequence, Texas finally squares off against Kane. Animator Sean Covernton, brought both incredible comedy and action to this sequence. 7) Electroblades fight: This sequence features incredible action animation by Ben Li. This is another sequence that had to ride the line between action and comedy. 8) Mushroom Runnin’: Animated primarily by Braden Poirier, this sequence showcases not only the animation department, but the incredibly talented background artists. The BG paintings were keyed by Anthony Wu. (With crazy jumping scene animated by Jeremy Polgar!) 9) Chuck vs. The KMG : Once again, Mike Roush brings incredibly full animation to Chuck. Marina Gardner animated much of the Mike action. This is another sequence that employed extensive composite techniques by the team of Tom McDonnell and Mike Newton.

Have any of you guys been watching Gravity Falls? I have to say, it's now my favorite cartoon from this year (or even years before it). Korra was disappointing and badly written, but this show is funny and has amazing continuity! It's like Courage the Cowardly Dog meets The Regular Show. And there are also secrets hidden in every episode! Like this future guy who's appeared in every ep so far. Then there's hidden codes that can be deciphered...it's amazing. I mean, just look at it!
