Donkey Kong Country - the place - didn't go anywhere, yet it returned. The 'New' Super Mario Bros aren't any different to the old ones. Yada yada yada.

"New" SMB doesn't make much sense to me either. As for Donkey Kong Country Returns, it could be argued that it refers to the games (and is probably intended to be so), not the place.
I'd say I want to see something like "Kirby's Dream Land Returns" instead if it really wants to imitate DK.

Yeah that's why I like Kirby: Return to Dream Land because it implies WE are the ones returning, not Kirby.

Hm, noticed that the Metaknight in the image Savage is showing has Metaknight's emblem on his left shoulder guard, yet the standalone Metaknight doesn't. Why yes, I do have an excess of time.
I've always meant to ask: has Metaknight always had that emblem there, or did it originate from Brawl? Yes, Google is my friend, but I am lazy.
Either way, can't wait for this game. Hope it's the new DKCR or NSMBW in terms of get in and have fun. And just being plain fun, exuding it, if you will. I love how this game will have 4 different characters (or just a Kirbeh fest), unlike NSMBW, who had 2 generic Toads (Where art thou, Wario & Waluigi? Alas, nonsensical gibberish and ranting...).

OHHHHHH MYYYYYY GOOOOOOOOD.
I... can't... someone... get... hold... on me...
I'm dying.... to get this game. Really, it has AWESOME GRAPHICS, SUPER STAR GAMEPLAY, (probably) A WELL-BALANCED DIFFICULTY TO SATISFY EXPERTS, REPLAYABILITY...
I was generally sold when I saw the graphics and the blue Kirby.
AAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHH I CAN'T WAITTTTT
Okay, I swear, this will be my last "spam/spaz"-post for this forum. Usually I don't do this, but this game... Dangit Kirby...

This looks really excellent! My only complaint would be its block-based levels that are nowhere as freeform as Kirby 64. 64 has enemies that attack from the background, cylindrical levels and a lot of stuff that makes it quality as a full-fledged 3D game with 2D controls.
- Meta Knight can fly through areas with other characters on his back
It's time to make fun of him.
