It is now confirmed that Japan is also having a Direct. Hopefully we'll get our first look at Band Bros. 3DS!

3DS Direct for Japan, huh... Luigi'sMansionLuigi'sMansionLuigi'sMansion.... And yeah, Band Brothers. I've been interested in this series for a while, but didn't buy any of them because of the ridiculous difficulty (I have problems even with Rhythm Heaven, so don't expect me to do well in traditional music games) and the 100-downloadable-song limit in the DX version. Hopefully this will be solved by paid DLC. EDIT - Oh, looks like Japan's Nintendo Direct will be Luigi-themed this time. - Luigi's Mansion 2 - Miyamoto's commentary and gameplay videos; there will be wireless play, download play and Wi-Fi multiplayer
- Mario & Luigi 4, which takes place in Luigi's dreams and will feature Starlow from M&L3
- Mario Golf: World Tour
- New Super Luigi U, add-on content for NSMBU featuring new stages
- Band Brothers will feature song transfer option from Band Brothers DX
- Two new Zelda games in development for Wii U; Miiverse Zelda community which Aonuma will participate in
- Donkey Kong Returns 3D

ND Europe details (pretty much the same as Jp/NA but here's some important news) - Monster Hunter 3 Ulitmate Wii U bundle and MH3 U 3DS XL (yes XL) bundle avalible March 22th  (Image From GAF) - Fire Emblem Awakening 3DS XL special edition bundle (yes, it is an XL unlike JP/NA versions). fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-snc6/223574_10152551177875654_336419935_n.jpg- On eShop TLoZ: OoT will be on sale for one week until the Feb 21st. Overall, this was a good Nintendo Direct, the focus on Luigi was nice, LM2 looks good, M&L4 looks good, MG 3D looks good. Though I was surprised by the porting of DKC Returns 3D. |

Donkey Kong Returns 3D being a port is a bit of a letdown, but I haven't finished the Wii version yet because I hate the waggle roll so hmmmm...
I was hoping FE:A would be a little on the early April side, but whatever 3DS XL bundle!! Preorderin' that shit

They didn't state this explicitly, but it's rather heavily implied that sharing of Flipnote will not be region-locked this time. You have the options to share your creations between registered 3DS friends or between anyone. The former will be a free service while the latter will be a paid one. At 7am Pacific Time, NoA and NoE will be hosting their own ND's on Wednesday. No news on Japanese one yet, but it will likely be announced later today.
