Honestly, I watched the Japanese video with subtitles (I think it was the European version) and Sakurai starting with the multiplayer mode was actually a smart move, since I've heard quite a lot of people say they're now excited about the game (including myself). That way, he captured everyone's attention pretty well, and I finally understood how the battles worked (with the whole angel mechanic). I also love how there's also free-for-alls.
Other than that and Last Story coming to the Americas, Fire Emblem 13 was looking nice, with voice acting (nothing new, but it's good to see it return) and nice character art. Also, being able to (somehow, I forget how exactly) obtain old characters is a pretty neat idea. My first thought was just making an OP team with the best character from past games, but then I though pretty much what YL said. Anything else was either "eh..." or "meh..."
NOW TELL ME HOW MUCH THE WIIU'LL COST ME. jk

24 hours from now at 9pm mountain time, a new Nintendo Direct will air in Japan. This one will feature news for the Wii and 3DS. I expect the focus will be about Fatal Frame and Mario Tennis Open. www.nintendo.co.jp/n10/nintendo_direct/index.html

It's not for another 5 hours.
For the Wii, I know we will see Fatal Frame, but perhaps SE will have some Dragon Quest to show.
NoA also announced that they will be announcing stuff at the same time as the Japanese ND.

Well, your not getting any, K thanx bye.Or alternatively NoA: Is your body ready for disappointment?EDIT: Euro teaser trailer for FF2.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii 2 has been confirmed, with raccoon suits. It's 3DS. Note: that's a Gyazo of a screenshot in browser because I didn't want to bother hosting the picture. That's what's up with the boarder.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii 2 has been confirmed, with raccoon suits. It's 3DS. Super Mario Bros. Wii 2... for 3DS? Nobody mentioned the Pokémon stuff! I thought it was cool. They're releasing an app that lets you locate Pokémon using the AR viewer, catch them, and send them to BW2. And Pokédex 3D Pro, which contains all the pre-Unova Pokémon now. There was a trailer for BW2 with some kind of weird battle against a giant robot Tyranitar? I'm not sure what was happening there.

Nah, it's just called New Super Mario Bros. 2. If we are in fact getting one on Wii U as well, does that mean two 2D Mario games in one year?
That'd be weird.
Also there was nothing about a Kirby 20th Anniversary compilation, but they did say there'd be a 20th Anniversary campaign. This may include a compilation, but it's more likely to be a range of Kirby events throughout the year.

Apparently, you're right in that the Kirby collection wasn't announced at the summit. However, apparently it was announced on NoA's twitter? I dunno, I'm going off of second hand information here.

It was announced on NoA's facebook that the 20th anniversary Kirby collection is for Wii. Nintendo Direct (euro) on YTOther important stuff: Beat the Beat: Rhythm Paradise (Euro) will have Japanese/English audio options. (Unlike the Euro DS version there will be no German, Italian, French, or Spanish options). Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion
