They can always delay Zelda another year if they want to. That's not to say that they will do so, but I wouldn't be surprised if it did happen. In another news, they've announced some Hyrule Warriors gachapon figures. Hopefully they create a second wave with Volga, Cia. and Ghirahim   |

A trailer for a 3DS version of Hyrule Warriors has been leaked. It includes Tetra and the King of Red Lions as playable characters (and yes, the King transforms into a boat). |

I'd been hoping they weren't done adding to the Wii U version. Kind of a shame the 3DS one is a port though, it would've been cool if they'd made it a whole new game using just the Toon Zelda characters.

It seems like they just recycled the Samurai Warriors Chronicles engine for the port. I always did like how you would field multiple warriors at the same time.

What's the whole point of making a port of this game for the 3DS? Isn't DLC for more characters what they're already doing on the Wii U version? Are the Wind Waker characters just not "console" enough for it or what?

It says in the article that the Wind Waker characters are being added to the Wii U version too, so I guess they just wanted the game on both systems.

Are the Wind Waker characters just not "console" enough for it or what? It's Koei, if they could port this to PS4 they would. I imagine the game will also have a couple new story maps, one for Majora's Mask and another for Wind Waker. |

Toon Link is also coming to Hyrule Warriors Legends on 3DS. He'll also be available in the Wii U version... if you have the 3DS version.

If they really wanted to cheap out they could include all eleven Links, but I don't think they're cruel enough to do that.  |

The Famitsu article states that there will be more characters, including characters from other games. Hope rising for Linebeck.

Judging by the screen of Lana holding a piece of Ganondorf's soul on Dragon Roost Island, I suppose Toon Ganondorf is a lock.
