I'll probably sucker in and buy the DLC anyway, but I'm still a bit disappointed that the Wii U version is only getting the characters and weapons, and no new maps or game modes to give us a reason to actually use and develop those new characters. As it is, I virtually have no reason to use Twili Midna, Young Link, Tingle or Medli other than just for the sake of it. Kind of regretting selling my copy of Hyrule Warriors now I see this LA set. Waaah! I love how Kohta just randomly pops in once a year or so.

I'm a retired NinDB'er, almost 10 years service. Still love the community and Nintendo. Good to see there is still some activity here after all these years <3

Quite amusing that after all these years, this forum is still semi-active.
I never sell my games, because I never know when I suddenly want to go back.

Although, obviously, the forum has seen busier days. Not even Fry comes here anymore, but he kinda left me the keys to the car, so I feel responsible for keeping the place up. I also tend not sell my games for the same reason as YL. But then, I don't buy a whole ton of games, either, and a portion of those are digital.

Toon Zelda and the Sand Wand for Toon Link are now available on 3DS and Wii U. 3DS version also gets a bunch of other stuff.
Toon Zelda is essentially just the Phantom form from Phantom Hourglass. It's interesting, but I don't think it's as much fun as regular Zelda, Sheik or Tetra.

The final DLC pack for Hyrule Warriors is coming out October 31. It includes the characters Ravio and Yuga (this was leaked over the summer) for Wii U and 3DS. Here is artwork for them and the rest of the DLC on 3DS.

Ravio and Yuga are now live. And I guess this wraps it up for Hyrule Warriors. I've really enjoyed this game for the past couple of years--far more than I expected to. I remember when I got it two years ago, I thought I'd play it for about a month and then move on to Bayonetta 2. And that's what I did... but then I came right back to Hyrule Warriors. It's been my go-to Wii U game ever since. I've bought all the DLC, finished all the adventure maps, and even bought the Link amiibo for the Spinner weapon. And there's still stuff I haven't unlocked yet! (But I think I still qualify as a hardcore fan. ) Here's hoping for a proper sequel on the Switch.
