Hey, look, Darunia! Our first guy! ...Not counting Link.
I wonder if all the OoT Sages will be playable. Right now we're at Impa, Darunia, Ruto, and Zelda. That's 4/7, leaving Rauru, Saria, and Nabooru to go.

Nabooru seems pretty likely, but it's hard for me to imagine Rauru and Saria fighting.

I think Saria and Rauru fighting would be less of a stretch than Agitha. I mean... those guys were sages. They helped defeat Ganondorf. All Agitha ever did before was have a tea party with some bugs.
Now that we have Darunia, I'm just hoping for Medli and Skull Kid now.

Saria would likely use nature-based abilities.

Agitha was easier for me to picture fighting than Rauru and Saria cuz she cray cray.

Aren't there characters who attack with books in Dynasty Warriors? I can see Raoru using one of those.

Lana's second weapon is a Deku Stick/Leaf/Sprout combo, so RIP Saria.

The scans in question.Shows Sheik, Ruto (Anybody know what her weapon is?), Darunia (Who uses the Megaton Hammer, like I thought he would) and Sheik and Lana's new weapons (A naginata and a Deku stick that summons Deku Sprouts). Also a new boss (Gohma, complete with a redesign) and a buttload of new stages, including Lakeside Laboratory and Death Mountain.

Ruto (Anybody know what her weapon is?) The scan says water-based magic.

Looks like Ruto just uses various water attacks. Kinda like how Agitha just attacks with bugs, and Fi attacks with... uh, dancing. (Well, it worked for Michael Jackson.)

Lana's second weapon is a Deku Stick/Leaf/Sprout combo, so RIP Saria. Not necessarily. Wishful thinking aside, Lana's use of Deku Sticks/Leaves/Sprouts does not bar Saria from entry any more than Link's existence in Smash Bros. barred Marth. This is especially important for Saria, as Saria didn't have any readily available method of attack to begin with, so there's more leeway for creativity, as was true with Agitha here, or the Villager and Wii Fit Trainer in Smash Bros.

If Saria did make it in, I could see her fighting with the Ocarina. Song of Storms to summon lightning, Sun's Song to summon heat beams, Epona's sog to summon a stampede of raging horses...
Standard vidya game affair.

The official website has been updated to show off all the new characters. It promises even more characters, so keep hope alive for Tingle!

This would be perfect for Saria... Yeah, I sadly agree she's probably not making it. I wish she did though.
