There's a theory that Lana is actually Nayru. Blue hair and all, also Lanayru is the recurring character/area named after Nayru.

That reminds me... While looking at the Oracles for possible characters, I noticed she's very similar to Farore the Oracle since she holds a book. I guess she's just an original character though.
Also read somewhere an opinion saying she could be a homage to Captain N's Lana. Too bad she was an American show character.

I only have super low res 4chan pictures right now, but Fi has been confirmed, as has the ball and chain for Link. Looks like Zelda may have the Wind Waker too, although nobody can tell for sure now.

Apparently that article confirms Ghirahim and the Imprisoned are in the game too. So it's just a big rush of Skyward Sword-related announcements. Which is awesome.

Anybody else catch the bits where he digs into the ground or shoots electricity? Looks like they're drawing influence from the non-strength boosting gloves Link has had too, like the Mole Mitts and the Magnetic Gloves.
