The boxart looks awesome, especially Mario's mid-air pose. The pictures are on the artwork page of the given URL.

I saw a video of it in motion yesterday. I was impressed with the speed, but I was even more impressed with the draw distance. You could see buildings way off in the distance - an impressive technical feat without any unnecessary fogging.
This game is going to be so awesome.
Though I was worried. In the demo, Luigi was moving a bit shakily, as if the D-Pad wasn't quite good enough to handle movement in this day and age. I'm hoping it was just my imagination... but another victim, perhaps, of the DS's reliance on the D-Pad for 3D environments.

I don't mind the D-Pad, really. Definately agree the Control stick is better for that sort of thing, but I don't think it'll be that bad, really. Though I unfortunately haven't seen any movies.

I'm hoping that DK gets to use that horn as a weapon. But I severely doubt that'll happen

Mario Kart isn't 2D, though. EDIT: If this guy here is to be believed, and he seems like he should be then here are the whole set of Retro tracks and one of the secret characters has been revealed... *spoilers, obviously* www.ga-forum.com/showthread.php?t=67840&page=1&pp=50The Retro Tracks are a bit lacking in variety (all I see is circuits), but I'm beginning to believe the speculation of a Rainbow Cup now, which would be very cool. And I like that secret character, too.

I LOVE SPOILERS!
Well, Everyone knows racing games aren't 2D, but still, it doesn't require you to play it analog. Only left and right are needed, after all, and you don't need to steer to some specific angle.
And... Yay! Banshee Boardwalk is in the game!

Since when was he a Pikmin or F-Zero character? It's just one super-awesome cameo... and one step closer to the dream of playable ROB in SSB3 ;D

Better yet, what is Pac-man doing in Mario Kart Arcade?

Better yet, what is Pac-man doing in Mario Kart Arcade? Because the game is made by Namco (I think anyway) and they probably have an agreement with nintendo to put Pac-man charaters in the game.

I think we've all worked out the spoilers by now.
I didn't really believe Rob is in it, but its a very cool idea, and sits well with the whole "what has Nintendo been smoking lately?" question that seems to have been brought up with the Rev and brought back up with Tingle RPG.
And I like Dry Bones, so thats good news as well. Hopefully he doesn't replace Koopa, though.
