I was thinking those Johto Pokeymans were Ash's - but his Chikorita evolved didn't it? That's correct. Otherwise, they could be his (like his Charizard here).

I might buy the remakes of the Gold/Silver/Crystal series sometime later, but I won't be playing the Pokemon series as much as I did in the early years. If another Pokemon Event like the Shaymin one comes, I will try to obtain it, if my parents or sister would let me. Pretty soon, I will probably be allowed to drive on my own; however, I don't know if my father would let me drive to a large city just above my home, where there are two Toys "R" Us stores there. I do have a driver's license, but my parents are so afraid to let me drive on my own, due to car accidents being one of the leading causes of death. For the upcoming Pokemon movie, I might watch it by myself in a theater close to my home in a small town, which is a place my father can let me go to. However, I don't watch movies in theaters much, because they are expensive and I don't usually see any that are interesting in my opinion, although they are more fun than watching them at home. Thinking about watching animes sometimes makes me look back at the time when I watched Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters at one of my grandparents' after school. I couldn't find much anything fun to watch, but my grandmother couldn't stand looking at the "pointy noses" and the mouth movements of the characters, and wanted to watch something else. Currently, I don't watch Yu-Gi-Oh!; however, I like watching this fan-made music video and others that are similar to it (except YouTube Poop and most Japanese Ronald McDonald videos) whenever I want to laugh or smile.

Pokemon movies are no longer shown in theater after the fifth one. You'll have to buy it, or watch it on Cartoon Network.

More importantly, when are they gonna stop with the show...
564 episodes? TV shows should not go past 500 episodes.

Well if you noticed in Japan lots of shows go that far. Take a look at Shin Chan... 600+ episodes!

I don't mind the movies. The movies are still just as good as they've ever been.
The show, though... well, some episodes are good, but it's hard to spot them amongst all the filler.

More importantly, when are they gonna stop with the show... When Gamefreak/whoever run out of ideas for new pokemon, hopefully (I'd say when the makers of the show run out of decent stories/plots, but they ran out of those aaaaaaages ago).

I don't mind the movies. The movies are still just as good as they've ever been. Eh? I dissagree. The movies have gone down hill. Repetitive and somewhat insignificant. Also, why must every badass Pokemon like Darkrai turn out to be GOOD? I liked it better when there were sinister Pokemon like Mewtwo out to destroy the world... on purpose! Not a misunderstanding, or a villain with an overly large piece of technology floating in the sky.

...You've seen the first movie, yes?
Protip: Mewtwo turns good.
The movies are the same as they ever were.

No not really, Mewtwo turns good, but he was originally evil.
Deoxys was really just looking for his lost friend.
Darkrai was trying to protect the city.
Those guys were never bad to begin with.

Mewtwo was more of an enraged being than an evil one if you watched the fragment with the failed clones. It seems Pokémon are never too evil in the movies in the presence of Ash and allies, but humans like the the one you referenced are. The above comment of mine doesn't take the Giratina movie into account, though, because I've not watched it! But I will soon. The first minutes of it were very interesting. By the way, it was first shown last Friday in the US on Cartoon Network. The official American site for Platinum is here.

Yeah, I geuss your right. But it still, seemed different from the 'misunderstanding the hero', like Doexys and Darkrai. Well atleast it isn't as bad as those 'Happy-Flying-Moments' in some of the movies starring the cute legendaries. Ugh, it started in number four with Celebi, that whole scene where they're flying in the sky, and playing was so lame. They did similar things with Latios/ Latias, Jirachi, Manaphy, and now Shaymin. Uhhhhh... Sorry, this whole things gone off topic.
