Excelent start, but to be honest I thought you would start with Mario, Link and all those because they are popular charaters. Where's the fun in that, eh? Mario, Link etc. are already well known characters, so putting up information about them won't really achieve anything. They will get pages eventually though... Big question is... Link... This isn't one character but a number of characters (original Link, Hero of Legends, Hero of Time, Hero of Winds), and some of them come in both young and adult forms. Where to start!

How will you treat DK? Will you make Cranky Kong be the original or will you keep the same DK throughout the Mario and Rare games? I personally think you should do the latter.

It looks like Nintendo's going with the one-Donkey Kong thing, and so shall I.
Besides, since when was it a good idea to believe ANYTHING Cranky Kong told you?

Just do a general entry on Link, no need to confuse people, eh?

Just do a general entry on Link, no need to confuse people, eh? Well, it would be more confusing to list them as one person as they're not.

I prefer Little Mac and Mr. Dream over Mike Tyson. I never forget about the time when he bit a chunk of Holyfield's ear like a Mightyena, Speaking of time when are you going to do the original Link?

Maybe you can do either Michael Anderson or Anubis from the Battle Clash series, I don't know of any english language charater bios for those two.
BTW the Battle Clash series consist of Battle Clash/Space Bazooka and Metal Combat: Falcon's Revenge, two of the best light gun (or bazooka if you want to be technical) games this side of the... something really large I guess.

Thing is, Mike Anderson will be one bugger of a drawing to do... because he's not really the star I'll have to do him standing in front of the Metal Falcon. It'll be a challenge, but cool nonetheless.
Will also do Mike Jones (StarTropics) and Mr. Stevenson (Gumshoe) soon.

Cool idea, I think...
Will you be checking the SSBM trophy section of the game for inspiration and some info - cos you probably know they have heaps of the characters in there...

Technically the trophy guide has already been my inspiration. It was one of my favourite parts of the site to work on, but it's finished. At least I can make this one an ongoing project...
At the moment I'm kinda fighting the trophy guide for characters that weren't in it, and prioritising them. Such as the Fire Emblem heroes who were missed out, and some personal faves (Prof. Hector, Mr. Stevenson, etc.)

What about, Mach Rider, Hikari and Donbe, Balloon Fighter, The Street Brawler, Ninten or Sukapon?

How's about Thomas from Kung-Fu?

Sukapon has already been drawn, and is just awaiting colouring and an entry. Same goes for Goku from Yuu Yuu Ki. NES characters will probably get done early (Mach Rider is a pain to draw mind), and I won't forget little Ninten, so don't worry about him.
As for Thomas from Kung Fu, he probably won't be added for the same reason Popeye won't be added. He's not a Nintendo creation, or even a videogame creation. Thomas is actually a Jackie Chan character from the film "Wheels on Meals" (aka. Spartan X in Japan, the same name as the game).

Hey FryGuy, just wanted to start off by saying that I'm a huge fan of the site and I think the Stars idea is great. Keep up the great work, dude.
