Zelda storylines are confusing... You're kidding! Are they? Okay, okay... yes, I made that mistake (one little letter)... but you still can't say that the Zora EVOLVED into the Rito. There's NO resemblance whatsoever, and nothing in the game that says so. I was of the opinion that the Rito were an evolved race of Hylians... especially considering that one of them is said to be descended from the running guy from OoT. But the fact that Medli was supposed to be descended from Laruto seems to be enough evidence to suggest that some sort of relation between the Zoras and the Ritos exists. The Zoras are amphibians. The Ritos are birds. They must have gone through a Reptilian Lizalfos-like phase at some point.

To go from aquatic creatures to birds (or even running guys to birds) would probably take a very very long time... longer than the 100 years that is supposed to have elapsed according to the creators of the game (by which, I assume they meant 100 generations, or else it's just silly... but even that's not enough).

Perhaps creatures evolve quicker in Hyrule. I mean, look how quickly Pokemon evolve. I think we'll have to let our imagination guide us through this.

New character art for the Stars section... I know he's only been in two games, but for heaven's sake... they're MASSIVE games (so I'll try and finish his character profile tomorrow). And so, without further ado, I present... Mike Jones! Star of Star Tropics, and Star Tropics II. Adventurer, baseball star, and one of those guys who dresses up like women and sticks bananas in his ears. It's true!

Very cool drawing of Mike Jones. Those games aren't talked about as much as they should be.

Heh, that's a good sketch of Mike. I tend to forget his freckles when I draw him. I like the Stars section - it's a nice thing to read up on older Nintendo stars. Keep drawing them - all of the sketches are really nice.

I wasn't sure to do him younger in the blue t-shirt, or older with the denim jacket. I guess t-shirts are just easier to draw! I have about five Mike Jones drawings lying around... jumping, mainly. Glad I scrapped that idea. Edit: OH YES! Before I forget... did everybody read the bit about submitting your own artwork? I'm not taking everything, just things I like (heh heh... dictatorship rules!) I'd rather you uploaded the pics to your own space then posted them rather than emailing them to me, as I only have limited email space. But if I like the artwork, or the response to it is good, then it'll be used. Preferably only do pics of the characters currently up - but if you do one of another obscure Nintendo hero then I won't be complaining

Yea, I heard that. I'll probably draw up a few when I have time.

This i gotta see, i should draw the older stars more than the 13 most popular heroes. Speaking of Heroes, please draw Medeus from The Sword of Light, i'm so curious what does he look like. I like the Stars section so much! thanks for briging this up.

You talking about Fire Emblem? Ah yes, here he is... Like I've said many a time, I won't be doing villains for a while, unless any take my fancy (also because they're usually at the end of a game... and I don't always get that far).

Medeus is a Mamcoot, which means he transforms into a dragon at will. He initially looks like a frail old man, but transforms into the legendary Dark Dragon when you reach him. Here he is at the end of Fire Emblem: And here he is again at the end of Fire Emblem 3: And on the boxart to Fire Emblem 3, you can see artwork of him as a human and a dragon: Plenty of Medeus to go around for now. Don't worry... when I make a start on villains I will be sure not to forget him.
