Follow that link and look at the flag... then look at the Daein logo. If anyone seriously tells me that they are the same again I might scream!
I've been told they're the same since I started asking. They're not. They're the same colours but they're very different.

Ay, the symbols are not the same. Thanks to the detailed analysis they proved that the symbol is NOT the same. The flag color may be, but those symbols do look different enough to say that they are not Daein.

They do look different, but I'm not convinced that they are actually meant to be different, as the do seem somewhat similar.

The one outside on the castle at least looks vaguely similar. The one inside the dungeon has no similarities other than color.

Why would they kick out Sheik? I would also be sad if they kick out Ness. Im so sure they would, but with Mother 3 out they may replace him for Claus or Lucas. I hope they keep Ness in.

Why would they keep Shiek? She's a good fighter, sure, but why not give a new character similar moves (like it sounds like they're doing with Samus)?

Actually, I think it sounds like Zamus is going to focus on her whip more than Sheik. So she may have Sheik's speed, but I doubt she's going to be taking over Sheik's moveset...

She's got a blaster that becomes a whip... Sheik had pin missiles and a chain whip. They're both fast. Frankly, I see little reason to keep both.

Feh. Seeing characters that were never on a Nintendo console frightens me (MGS3? Give me a break!). I might as well ask for Kratos to appear. >_<
Anyway, I'd like to see Soren (Fire Emblem), Mike Jones (Startropics) or Samurai Goroh (F-Zero) pop up. I have plenty of other choices, but these three would be interesting to try to implement.
As for 3rd party characters, only 2 - 4 more, please. Mega Man would be cool. If anyone form Namco made it, it'd be Pac-Man, but I'd like seeing someone from Tales of Symphonia pop up. No more Konami characters - one is enough. (Besides, compared to Sega, EA, Capcom or Namco, Konami has done little for Nintendo's consoles that has been rather signifigent lately) If Sega comes through, I know Sonic's a given, but I'd rather see Vyse or Aika from Skies of Arcadia instead. Square's been more involved with the GBA this gen, despite plenty of DS and Wii support forthcoming, so I don't think anyone from there will make it. I liked the character design of Jet Force Gemini, but MS isn't likely to let that one happen. Hm. That's my thoughts for now...

As for 3rd party characters, only 2 - 4 more, please. He said that there will only be 1-2 more 3rd party. Im not sure if Snake was included in this. Now about Smashbros.com. Its seems that there updating it every week. So well see Snake uesday or so. He'll also update his journal as well

He's still uncertain on 3rd parties, though. Snake was a personal request. But yeah, 1 or 2 more if he goes with it, and they have to have appeared on a Nintendo platform, and, I'm assuming, played some significance for Nintendo (so no "BUT CLOUD WAS IN CHAIN OR MEMORIES LOL!1!1!!SHIFT11!11!" comments!!). Probably people along the lines of Mega Man, Simon Belmont, etc. Though, with that argument, Sonic is feasible as well. Poo And I just had a thought: if all the characters are being revamped from the ground up, and he did say they were keeping most of their moves, what does that mean? Just newer movement and control? The game is supposedly slower, with a tweaked aerial combat system that makes it more like ground combat from what I understood, and less "confusing" stages like Rainbow Cruise, Poke-Floats, and Big Blue (BOOO!!!) So if this is true, maybe more than just Samus got an additional "form" added to their repertoire? Maybe Link can use an ocarina and become Young Link, or zap himself with Twilight and become a wolf? XD Mario can don the coat and become Dr. Mario, Fox can switch places with Falco via Arwing, etc. etc. It would make for an interesting mechanic, albeit an unpopular one. But it does add that little "SNK flair" the series could use to make it more of a traditional fighting game

Yeah, but Super Smash Bros. isn't a traditional fighting game. I don't think the whole tag team thing will come through. However, like I said before, I think that alternate costumes might come up.
As for second parties, if it's only two or three more, I'd put my money on SEGA and Hudson. They seem to be Nintendo's closest allies in the next gen due to allowing Nintendo to use their games on the virtual console. I fully expect to see Sonic and either Bomberman or Bonk in the final roster.

I'd be surprised if some of the old SSB stalwarts weren't given vastly overhauled movesets. Fox McCloud has been quite mobile in the years since SSBM, and don't forget Peach has a whole new repertoir of moves thanks to Super Princess Peach.

Yeah. I could see Peach's B move be replaced. I am happy some characters are being redone, but I doubt alot of them will be. Jiust look at SSB and Melee.
He also said the speed will be moderatly changed. Hopfully if wont change the game play to much, but the speed is fine. Also no "Fair" courses. There is no "Fair" course ppl. Its how you use it. If you complain you die becuase of the course then thats your problom since A)You cant fight well on that course or B)You opponent can take advantage of the course. So in other words, if you can use the course you are the better player and deserve to win.
