Link from TWW may be "young", but just because he's young doesn't mean he's "the perfect replacement for Young Link". Young Link was okay because the Hero of Time had two forms in the same game.

Yeah, but why not just make him a transformation then? Hell, what they should do is give every character a secret costume that turns them into a different character...

Examples: Mario = Dr. Mario
Link = Young Link
Zelda = Sheik
Samus = Zero Suit Samus
Fox = Falco

They have basically the same moves except something different.

Ike was a top requested character on the poll. He tied with Dedede, Krystal, Ridley, and Diddy Kong. Wind Waker Link was like... barely on the list. I think the kid from Baten Kaitos (Kalas) had more votes than him. Seriously.

I'm busy packing today and heading back to Vermont tomorrow to get ready for school. To say the least, I'm just waiting until Monday to see what happens. It's the best option right now.

There's a character who was impossible to request during June 2006 (at least knowing her) and that's the Twilight Princess.

If she can attack in her imp form, of course she should be able to in her human-like form.

Let me put an end to these rubbish rumours. It appears Mr Puroresugrande has had access to a character roster to another game some time before he had access to Brawl's roster.

The replies in the link already state he is a liar and the list is fake. And behold, when WWE Day of Reckoning appeared in the shops it had a completely different roster. See for yourself at:

Well, our whole discussion isn't really if we believe him or not. I'm sure the majority does not believe him. He hasn't even listed where he got his information. It's just that, this is really all we have to go by. Sakurai has not said close to as much as this guy said. And Sakurai won't give us the amount of characters anytime soon. So for the time being, this is the guy who we base all our guesses on.

It appears to be that a lot of you are pining on what he has said to me. I could pop up at GameFAQs and do the same thing (OMG I KNOW the 3rd Party CHARCTERS FOR THE BRAWLS!...BUT YOU'S GONNA HAVE TO GUESS'EM FROM MY INANE CLUES LOLZ, for example), but I don't want to. Wouldn't want to. I don't want to decieve people. The internet is loaded with people that do enjoy watching other people get their hearts trambled on. If our GameFAQ guru came over here, he'd probably be laughing. I'm all for speculation and whatnot (I did some on my site, after all), but I'd much rather see the forum's focus be on their own educated guesses like before than trying to decipher grids and baseless, sourceless, completely empty rumor posting on one of the more infamous boards on the net for such things.

This is turning into a conspiracy of some sort. Think about it.

This guy from gamefaqs says he has a source but he won't tell us. Also we won't be disappointed. What the hell does that mean?

Either it is a guess, he won't tell us and we will end up disappointed, or he actually has a source, and we actually won't be disappointed.

This guy seems to be making a lot of enemies, and if we find out he is lying, then he will be the most hated person on the internet.

Personally, all this bashing on each other for believing or not or whatever, seems kind of pointless. But the guessing doesn't.

As I have said, he has given the most amount of information, except where he got it, so no one is to be sure. But he is all we have so everyone, guess away.

In a way I agree, but also disagree. I enjoy those little tibits. I think it gets me more excited for stuff, and thinking of the possibilities.

Maybe we should get back to our own speculation. I beleive C. Falcon is next. I also beleive that we won't have many more chartacter updates, and they'll be spaced out.
