Great Update!!!!!!!! Another Newcomer!!!!!!!!!
I was tring to make this post 5 minutes ago, but I don't know how to add the images. But dosen't matter. Cool!!
That's why it took them so long to add to the Dojo. To make it more exciting... or not. Who would've knew Diddy was going to be today? Anyway, Awesome!

Looks like he moves like a breakdancer. And if screenshots don't do him justice, why doesn't Sakurai simply post a video ;D
Not as surprising as Pokemon Trainer, really, but still... at least he's managed to give Diddy a unique fighting style.

Ohhhh... SNAP.
I clicked the RSS update, saw Diddy Kong, and knew that either way (character or assist trophy), this is gonna be a big update.
Looks like he's Rare based, too. Someone threw DK Universe a bone.
EDIT: Lucas not shown, crappy rumour killed, DiU is a happy man.

I know that The "mysterious" rumor guy was wrong! Though I said that I'd give him a chance, and if Lucas was the next newcomer I'd always listen to what he had to say. But now the rumor just blow away. Just like Dances in Underwear said.

It was a longer wait, but this update is worth it. Its also nice to see another picture of Squirtle and also a picture set on the Animal Crossing Smashville stage.

Diddy Kong! One of my personal friends really wanted him as playable, so I can't wait to tell him, it'll make his day.
Not just his day, but I can see this as the first Brawl update that DK Vine'll actually get excited over! Who'd have thought that would ever happen?

I thought this update was going to turn on at around 6 AM Eastern, because I kept reloading the web site in all available languages. But I guess I was wrong. And thores, you forgot to put the "Warning: Challenger Approaching" banner on top of this thread's first post.
This update really creeped me out, and it looks like Sakurai really is adding only characters mentioned in his poll and perhaps the official Nintendo forums in North America and other nations. However, the Pokemon Trainer idea wasn't mentioned in his poll, but perhaps in the official Nintendo forums in North America and/or other nations. The Pokemon Trainer update came on 12 days after the Ike update, while the Diddy Kong update came on 10 days after the Pokemon Trainer update. Could this mean that the next Newcomer update will turn on between 12 and 10 days in the future?
I assume the next update will show two or three of his moves.

Diddy rox in large quantities, and DK now has a link with the Country series so a DKC stage is yes-yes.

Looks like the wet dreams of many people finally came true. Good to see another Donkey Kong character. With the rumor guy totally destroyed (since Lucas wasn't the next newcomer shown), this gives hopes to Ness once again!

It's something I'd prett much guess rightly, because, you know, there's no way to have one single character for big series like this!
