Yeah that fake Dedede is surprisingly good for a fake. The person who did that should be proud they came so close.

Those two avatars of yours are the kind of things that I'd expect; however, they're too specifc to a hardware (Game Boy) and only as accessories. IMO the characters that make more sense (of that kind) would be a playable R.O.B. or a living Game Boy. And for real characters, maybe an 8-bit version of Mario. By living Game Boy you mean the one from Captain N? There isn't a living being that watched Captain N and didn't want Game Boy dead so he'd make a good smash victim. He'd need to have that blocky smiley face though. Also King Dedede more or less drifts in this video, when he's near dead, so who knows. Unless that will be his one of a kind double jump: hold jump to float like a balloon for a while, instead of small puff jumps.

This IS quite spooky: The left one's the fake one that's been floating around for a while. Haha! Almost the same pose and everything! Dang that's creepy. And in some ways the fake seems more detailed than the real one.

Have any of you noticed that the pic of Dedede looks different than the other characers? The other pics look like ingame pics, while Dededes looks photoshoped or something.

I don't notice anything like that. Is it possible that you're just........ used to seeing fake Smash Brothers updates? At this point... maybe your mind subconsciously thinks "Photoshop" everytime it sees a new character in 3d on that blue/white background.

It is no surprise to me that King Dedede is playable. He is, after all, one of Sakurai's babies. It is cool. I think I will have more fun playing as King Dedede than Meta Knight.
Now I am getting concerned that we have a little too many starters. 8 starters in SSB64. 14 starters in SSBM. 24 starters in SSBB? I kinda expected 18-20 starters in SSBB. Did Sakurai state that all the playable characters (including unlockable characters) will be announced before the release date?

No, it's just what he's done with the last two Smash Bros. Dojos. Also, yeah, great idea... spoil all of the hidden stuff before the game is released. That's a GREAT idea!

When SSB64 first came out, Nintendo Power covered the game the same month SSB64 came out and it revealed all four unlockable characters and the unlockable stage. Isn't that considered spoiling the game at the same time the game is released?

I fail to see how that is at all relevant. First of all, yes, that would be considered spoiling the game, but that was Nintendo Power's decision and not Masahiro Sakurai's.
Secondly, the Japanese release was four months before the US release. Nintendo Power would have either gotten the spoilers by playing an imported copy of the game, or by reading the Dojo (which, don't forget, was only in Japanese at the time).
Once again, you have brought up a completely irrelevant argument to try and justify your point.

And in some ways the fake seems more detailed than the real one. Some, but not all. At least now we know that the tan part isn't his belly but an undergarment of some sort. I really like how DeDeDe's design mixes all of his past looks together. He has his eyes and tan part from Kirby Super Star, but a large, imposing, lump-shaped body like in the Kirby anime.
