Actually, I agree. At this point, the only three characters that should be in are Ridley, Sukapon and Takamaru. Man, this only proves how big this game is. FIXED! ;D

Fry, you crazy. Takamaru wouldn't be that bad though.

Ridley, Krystal, and Olimar? I can agree with all three but I'm doubting Ridley will be playable. We did, after all, get Ridley's boss theme which is suitable for Ridley as a boss in Subspace Emissary. Duck Hunt Dog should be in Brawl, even if he's a sprite AT along with duck sprites reenacting the original Duck Hunt.

You know what I noticed?
King Dedede's inclusion seems to have gotten an almost completely positive reaction! We haven't gotten that since.... uh.... Pit. Wow. I give the old penguin credit... not alot of people seem to be AGAINST Dedede. Which is great. Come to think of it... nobody is really against Meta Knight either....
Maybe the Kirby series is more loved than I thought? I've always been a big fan, but it doesn't seem like one of those series that people get loud about.

Kirby's always been a very weird series. Everyone seems to have played the original, and those who picked up the SNES games seem unanimous in their love for them.
But the main weird thing? They're EASY! In fact they're some of the easiest platform games ever made. It's a rare day you hear that cute Kirby lose-a-life music, and even rarer to end up on the Game Over screen with the little pokey finger (which I swear is the inspiration behind Master Hand). I mean, the first game had 5 levels! Not even very long levels! And Kirby could eat everything and fly over them if he wanted! Oh, and let's not forget, they're cute and... I hasten to use the word... kiddy!
But those early games are strangely, and almost universally, loved. And with each new release, I'm always surprised how quickly people fall in love with them.
I can't explain it. I've never been able to explain it. Mario and Zelda can be explained - they were progressive, and have always been so. But Kirby? No idea. I guess people like solid game mechanics with a bubbly character that ANYONE can play!

Kirby games also had awesome music! It's just a good blend, and a good series. Kirby doesn't have just one power, he has dozens of powers he can utilize. The Kirby mechanics have never been used and they were/are very fun.

Plus he eats things. A lot. Americans can relate to Kirby.

Heck yes I can relate. I remember the other day I ate the mailman and I was shuffling mail like crazy afterwards. And when the police came to arrest me, I just ate -them- and used their arresting powers against them.

Getting mugged? Eat the mugger, gain his mugging powers, then poop him out. He works for YOU now! Although you do have to feed him by kissing him.......
So pick a clean mugger.

If he's bigger than you, you might have to knock him out before you eat him. If you're unfortunate enough, the person you eat might not have any abilities you can use. Them's the breaks. ;D

I just found a huge flaw about why Dedede cant have his vacuum attack as his standard B move.... ...Which ability would Kirby copy, if that were the case

Maybe Dedede's vacuum attack is his grab.
However, remember that some powers of Kirby involve inhaling hard his enemies after he gets the powers, such as Backdrop and Throw.

Precisely. Kirby might still be inhaling his enemies with the Dedede power, but he wouldn't be able to copy--he'd just use them as projectiles, like Dedede might.

I bet Kirby would get the hammer. It's different than Ice Climbers after all...
