Of course, you realize that this means Dedede's theme from KDL has to be in the game somewhere now, right? It'd be blasphemy if it weren't. ;D

His theme, as well as his boxing/wrestling ring place from KDL/KSS, needs to be in the game.
Okay, I'd settle for just his theme song, because it's possibly the greatest boss music ever.

Where are people getting the idea that he's sitting in a tiny arena in that first screenshot? It just looks like an oriental mobile throne to me...

They don't look like ropes at all to me... they look like they're made of wood for a start. Especially since there are extra support bits between the lowest two about a quart in from each side. XD You can also see the back of a gold chair behind his left shoulder there. EDIT: Also, the highest "rope" is thicker than the others... Eh, I could go on all night.  |

I was expecting Dedede (now its confirmed YAY!  ) and I was expecting a character this week, but I never, NEVER expected we were getting Dedede on Thursday, This just confirms one thing.... NOBODY EXPECTS THE SPANISH INQUISITION...Seriously there its absolutely no pattern to follow in Sakurai Updates, we might even get Cp. Falcon tomorrow, But anyway the Kirby cast its now complete, excellent! (now if they give me Flint I could die happily) |

This time I won't whine about me being late, as this time, it was Comcast's fault. We were expecting this all along, though it's great to see a handful of our predictions are coming true! I can't wait to play as Dedede! ;D |

Like someone said earlier, I hope his final smash involves Dark Matter somehow, like maybe he gets possessed and gets some of those weird attacks from KDL3 and Kirby 64. The only other thing I could think of would be something random like a Waddle Dee stampede.

His intro needs to be the Waddle Dees carry him and then they get squished from the weight. And his Final Smash would be a giant army of Waddle Dees that rush the stage.
C'mon. THAT'S Dedede. Not some Dark Matter bologna.

...really? What was 64's 'epic' character then? It was Ness. An unexpected character is (IMO) epic. Also, Dedede looks so cute in his little wrestling ring!  |

I'm going to try to refrain from freaking out...although I did all that earlier.
The two characters I was wishing for are in...and I couldn't be happier. I'd like to say this game is now complete for me, but...now that Dedede thas appeared, my hopes for K. Rool have skyrocketed. I'm actually EXPECTING him to show up, now.
I hope he has his boxing arena as a stage, with his battle theme...
Wow...we practically have as many starting characters now than there were characters TOTAL in Melee...I wonder if there are going to be ANY secrets now?

Eh? His body's been that shape since the beginning. XD In the games her seems smaller, rounder and cuter. Look at him in stills of the anime and you'll find that he's taller and more intimidating. The smaller pupils and wider belt make it even more apparent. |
