What I find most alarming is that you seem to worship this dog of a timeline theory yet you also seem to hate the fact that us guys at the DKU are continuity freaks, Fry.  No there is a big difference. In Zelda, we know there is a time line. It's has been said in interviews. We know all the events must piece together somehow, but we don't know how. DKU is looking for things that aren't actuality there. Besides the Country games, there is no time line. Then you guys claim that all these other games are part of one big universe becuase of a cameo. The best one is that you guys think Starfox is in the same realm as DK becuase Advernutre and Didddy Kong Racing both have a triceratops named Tricky, despite the fact that both games were made by the same person, was probably a cameo, and that nether of them look a like or appear in similar areas. Basically, a lot of the continuity is complete BS. |

Just to clarify... I'm not against DKU because they are timeline freaks. I'm against DKU because they're a bunch of jerks. ;D
I don't REALLY worship the Triforce of Time theory. It's a joke timeline Masamune invented on Gamehiker. It's a joke! If you can't see that Tingle being an old man Link is a joke, then... well... I don't know what to think!
But you have to admit, it DOES explain everything.

I don't go on the forums unless linked. Just reading the website tells me DKU is full of jerks, or at least made by jerks.

The website. The forums are a different story. You can't just assume you know a community in it's entirety simply by reading the main site.
The jerkishness of those articles are written that way on purpose, Fry. The guys aren't really that bad. Actually, they make some pretty good points on a variety of subjects. Too bad the place is an instant turn-off for everyone upon first glance.

I didn't assume I knew the community. YOU brought it up. I was talking about Gamehiker and the Triforce of Time. You brought DKU into it.
I also SAID I didn't assume I knew the community, but I hate the website itself. From what I've seen of the community, it's not great either, but I didn't assume to know them.
Fuck me, is this be a shit to Fryguy week or something?!

Actually, they make some pretty good points on a variety of subjects. This is news to me. Last I checked, StarFox being canon to DK and everything not made by Rare sucking were very wrong and ridiculous points. EVERYBODY MAMBO! |
