No Megaman in Brawl GoNintendoThere is still time, but with the game very late in development, it doesn't seem likely.

He could be puling our leg. You know, just to wizzle with us. I wouldn't put too much faith in it.

Brawl will still be awesome, but it ain't perfect without Megaman... I hope some badass Nintendo unlockables will make up for it then (impossible)

If it makes you feel any better, Keiji Inafune never said Mega Man wasn't in Brawl, just that Sakurai hasn't contacted him yet. Maybe... a spark of hope?

Yeah, that...and there's also the fact that Keiji Inafune doesn't fully control Megaman anymore. I believe he's just in charge of the EXE, Star Force and Legends franchises while Capcom itself holds the rights to the other parts of the series. So, I mean, it's unlikely, but still possible that Sakurai just contacted Capcom directly and left Inafune out of it.
I honestly don't think there are any more characters that could be added this late in the process, though. As nice as it would be, it just doesn't seem possible D:

The game is in its testing stages--character development was complete a long while back, when David Dayter was being interviewed after finishing all the CODEC conversations for Snake.
Inafune WOULD have a hand with Mega Man. Konami owns Metal Gear and Kojima still designed the stage. C'mon, guys. We have better brains than this. Don't fall into the denial trap like Gamefaqs. Mega's dead :/ Let's move on...

I was expecting this for a while. With Megaman never being shown at any possible turn, it's unlikey he was going to show up.
I'm happy about this becuase I was on of the purist and wanted little 3rd party involvement. On the other hand, Megaman would have still been a character I felt would have fit and would have welcomed with open arms (plus I understand how much of a bummer it is for all of you guys). There might be another 3rd party character, but Megaman was the most likely (and I doubt another could fill his place) so another seems unlikely. Possible, but not very likely.

Well, here's hoping for Pac-Man, then, huh?
"Bummer" is just about accurate, Smash. I'm not mad, but it just made so much sense. Ah well. Move along, I suppose...

If anything, we'll see Geno. Why? Because it's intra-company and doesn't require a big reveal

If Megaman, or at least any other 3rd party character doesn't get in, and fuckhead Geno does, I'll go nuts.
