Speaking of Sonic the Hedgehog, Sega has apparently registered domains for Sonic Generations. Apparently there were plans for a new compilation package a while back. Perhaps this is it. EDIT: Also, from Sega's Twitter:

Solatorobo is getting a PAL release from Nintendo of Europe.Since this titles DSi enhanced it will not work with NA DSi units (though it should be fine with just the DS) In Solatorobo: Red the Hunter, prepare to enter a world of epic fantasy action in a role playing game set on the mythical floating islands of the Shepherd Republic. Take on the story of Red Savarin, an anthropomorphic dog with the ability to take a human form, as he does battle with giant robotic “mecha” and other enemies as he explores the floating islands.
This engrossing quest is set amid picturesque anime graphics produced by some of the world’s leading animators and manga names such as Nobuteru Yūki (The Vision of Escaflowne) and movies and cut scenes designed by Madhouse (Marvel Anime, Ninja Scroll, DeathNote, CardCaptor Sakura). Here's some footage.

My cousin bought it. It was fun goofin' around 4 player style one time, but not something I'd buy myself. And not something I think needded a sequel (but apparently it sold pretty well so MILK MACHINE ACTIVATE)

Is Rayman Origins getting a Wii release? Amazon seems to think so. At least it's not another Rabbids game. And let's see that trailer again:

Well, guess what? The House of the Dead: Overkill is being ported to PlayStation Move with two extra levels and other features. I suppose this isn't necessarily a bad thing if it indicates that there might eventually be a sequel... unless that sequel isn't intended for the Wii/Project Cafe.

And our first post-conference third-party Wii U game has just been announced. Ubisoft is working on an exclusive FPS called "Killer Freaks From Outer Space". Here's the trailer: Screenshots here. It looks kind of grindhouse-inspired, like House of the Dead: Overkill. And those little aliens look kinda like Rabbids, altho there are apparently many other types of aliens in the game as well. But what do you think? Killer app, or the Wii U's equivalent to Red Steel? While I'm at it, here's every confirmed third-party game being developed for the Wii U. I think there might be a few missing here. Aliens: Colonial Marines (Sega) Assassin’s Creed (Ubisoft) Batman: Arkham City (Warner Bros. Interactive) Darksiders II (THQ) Dirt (Codemasters) Killer Freaks From Outer Space (Ubisoft) Metro: Last Light (THQ) Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge (Tecmo Koei) Rabbids (Ubisoft) Tekken (Namco Bandai) Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Online (Ubisoft)

Solatorobo is supposedly getting a NA release . . . but not from Nintendo. An announcement about it should be coming this month. www.nintendolife.com/news/2011/06/e3_2011_reader_questionsKFfOS sounds pretty awesome, saw some footage of the human (using Remote/nunchuck) vs alien (Wii U controller) mode.

I'm interested.
I didn't really understand what kind of game Solatorobo was supposed to be at first, but as I've learned more about it, I've really started looking forward to it!
And especially now, when Nintendo fans are complaining about games not coming to North America, here's one that was originally thought would never leave Japan. I think if Nintendo fans want to help send a message to NoA, they ought to support this game to show that this sort of localization is worthwhile.
