They're not even well defined. Are Turks Whites? Are Armenians White? Middle Easterners? North Africans? You are not coming off as intelligent. Not even close. Refute my statement then if I'm so stupid. White is white. Black is black. Saim, you seem to be starting a lot of arguments with pointless and invalid rebuttals. Turks are white, so are armenians, africans are black, but it depends on your country and skin color. Are dark-skinned Sudanese Arabs black? Armenians and Turks are white? What about Persians? Pashtuns? Baluchis? Punjabis? All of the different types of humanity "shade" into one another. I'm not saying that differences don't exist, I'm saying that they're not well-defined. Either way, seeing a black and white person making out is nowhere near as disturbing as seeing a human girl make out with a 3-foot tall cartoony blue thing vaguely resembling a hedgehog.  Exactly, because two ethnic groups are very different from two different species, and I'm surprised that the analogy even came up. That's all I'm saying. |

This isn't as serious as you guys are making it. It's like your making it into something sexual when its nothing of the sort.
But, what about the Justice League where human (Green Lantern) and Thanagarian (Hawkwoman) have a child together? No one complained. I think people make a bigger deal over Sonic due to all the crazy idiot fans out there who take things to the next level.
Just because those people are sick, doesn't mean Sonic actually is.

I'm only intervening here as a moderator. Otherwise, I'd leave this silliness alone. I haven't played Sonic 06, but I saw the video of this apparently repulsive and deviant "kissing scene" on YouTube. Do you guys realize that you have spent days and weeks and several pages of this thread arguing because a girl gives an unconscious Sonic a small kiss on the mouth? Based on the big deal you guys made over it, you made it sound like some full-on make-out scene just short of pornographic bestiality, and it doesn't even show their lips touching. Is this a joke that I didn't get? Please, there has to be something more interesting for you guys to talk about. Let it go and move on. |

All of you people who make examples of other things, it isn't talked about as much because not as many people know about it. It's just as wrong.
And Nester, I'm pretty sure we would have been just as mad if she only showed the slightest affection.

Latching on to Nester's mandate to move on, but throwing in a last "yeah what he said, but you guys are still wrong" isn't good form at all.
So I was looking at the Wiki page for the game and looking at the character roles. Apparently Merlin is "Merlina". I have a feeling that means she will be the same genie that accompanies Sonic in the Secret Rings. Arthur is the Black Knight, so I have a feeling he's going to be Eggman.
