Thing is, the Pinball cover sprite isn't the ingame sprite. Pinball uses Donkey Kong's sprite. So, like all American covers, it was probably made here. What's the point in using a sprite that's not even in the game?

I dunno, man. It hapened a lot on American covers back then- Mario on Mario Bros. and the red Nana on Ice Climber (That I still think is source of her red costume!) are all examples.

I took down the fiery Luigi thing because it was a massive leap. It looks nothing like the SMB3 fiery sprite.

Fair enough. Also, upon further though about the Pinball cover, it might be possible. Which cover did the Japanese E-Reader card pack use?

Japan didn't get the NES Classics e-reader packs. That's why they got so many more Famicom Mini games.

Just would like to point out that Meta-Knight has a white costume in KAR too. Might I ask why you do not have this added?

Unless the video posted here makes it look different, it doesn't really look like the one in Brawl. On a side note, when can we expect an update to the OP, Fry? I'd be happy to list the ones you've said would be added, or the ones you've commented on otherwise.

Meta Knights alt colors in KAR. Um... Yeah, it is. 3:26 to 3:58, last costume in the video.

Um... Yeah, it is. 3:26 to 3:58, last costume in the video. And there you have it. It's completely different.

Brawl White Meta knight has Gold Low-lights while White Air Ride Meta knight has Light Blue Low-lights. The "Light Blue Low-lights" are caused by that particular courses lighting. I would know. I own the game.

Savage Adam is right. The color is due to the stage. If you watch it, you can see how it changes. However, Brawl's Meta-Knight has a gold sheen to him (like a Holy Knight I guess). KAR one is just white. This is what lead me to beleive that it was not a reference to KAR.

Haven't we already established that there are American costumes/references in the game? How farfetched is it, then, that he would pull colors from American sources? Shit... Captain Falcon wears a costume from a fucking Japan only TV ad! I think something from a box cover is just as likely, if not more so. Btw, in Wrecking Crew Luigi's sprite is pink and red
