More footage from the Japanese D:DoC website. Two videos, one is an intro trailer and the other has gameplay footage. GoNintendo link.Heres a link to the Japanese website. Contains videos and pictures. One the D:DoC website I noticed this neat little detail beneath the D:DoC logo. It's all the character names in the game and it's been arranged like how a movie poster would do it.

Just checked the Jaanese site. I'm pretty impresed with the graphics.
Even in a game like this, Nintendo censored any posible bloodshed. Hmm.

Hm, they changed the original artwork a tad. It used to just show the protagonist, Raymond.

The game's going to be an interactive movie. I love it.
As long as there is a lot of story. If it's too much minigame that's no good. But it looks fantastic, I'll be buying this right away.

Two new trailers! Source. The first one is a game trailer with cutscenes and game footage (some old but most of it is new). Got some really good music as well. The second one is mainly gameplay. It appears animals (as well as people) can be rescued as well.

The dialogues are so corny. ;D I won't cancel my preorder after all.

So yeah, checked out the trailers, and I must say this game is rather interesting. Kind of like a gallery shooter, plus RE4 plus saving people. Oh, and quick time is cool.

The latest trailers have really piqued my interest. Varied gameplay, attention to detail, excellent effects and it even looks like the story might be good!
In other words... I am excited about this title now.
It looks like the Wii might finally be getting some good, original, first-party franchises for traditional gamers.
Ray and Captain Rainbow for SSB4 ;D

Diaster was always the game I knew would make the Wii for me. It was the first game I had interest in at E3 06. And once again, it's a movie on the Wii. The arcade style fits for me, as well. I don't see how the dialogue is corny besides SHALL WE DANCE?! It's really well done, I think. It's not like the first Resident Evil (that was intentional, then again) or a Sonic game. It actually has great voicework, or so it sounds, and the lines sound like what a good action movie would sound like. In 2006, I was looking forward to this over everything else. Now I have a bigger reason to say this game might top everything else. It first won me over with natural disaster concepts alone, now it has a Hollywood plot too!

Hm, they changed the original artwork a tad. It used to just show the protagonist, Raymond. After being reminded about that, I decided to find the original artwork. Its had a few other changes done to it (such as the buildings and the major overall colour change) but not much else. Original E3 2006 art.

Another trailer, its got some old footage in, but there is some new stuff in it and its a purly CG trailer as well (no gameplay). Trailer.EDIT: Famitsu has reviewed D:DoC and given it a 34/40 (8/8/9/9). Here the review (translated from Google). Water-pin 8 In extreme circumstances, the scramble for survival and rescue. Realistic graphics, tension and a high degree of empathy can be played. For each scene, and tips on how to do different and keep making tired. Sawa 8 in Rolling In the excellent director, overcoming a major disaster will can enjoy a sense of realism and tension. Gun Shooting, car action, such as using the Wii remote and Nunchuk A variety of actions ◎. Yayoi Honda 9 Learn a variety of actions, to carve one’s way to have fun. More than anything else, like how to throw hard in a very cool movie. Difficulty is a bit expensive, but we do have damage included. Devil Fujiwara 9 From major disasters and terrorist attacks is a hot theme. You can enjoy a variety of nice action. Hollywood also cinematic good sense of realism. The hero, weapons and even have a growth element ◎.

I hate it that all I have to go upon when importing jpn games is Famitsu. Their reviews and scores fail so hard that 34/40 could well mean that Disaster is garbage. Kirby Air Ride was a 34/40 too. I did not enjoy it.
