This can actually be quite a difficult finding.
Besides Mario and Pokemon, references to other series probably won't pop up anywhere else much...
And if you want, here's the Muppet Babies episode that wanderingshadow brought up:
Part 1 anyway.

So far they parodied:
-DK -Mario -Ninja Gaiden -Tetris -Skate or Die -Zelda
It always used to bug me that that the first game was supposed to be a DK parody when the boss was clearly meant to be a pastiche of Wart/Bowser.

I forgot to mention the Pac-Man parody near the end of the last one.
Now we have a screen from a game that I couldn't identify, World Class Track Meet and the Power Pad, and the aforementioned Sega game.

The 3D animated series ReBoot did manly alot of movie pardodies in it's "games" but it also did some pardodies game series such as "Evil Dead" "Mortal Kombat" (with violence!) and also Pokemon/Dragonball Z combernation (Not much DBZ but manly the unique hair styles from the anime).
A probably even stranger thing from ReBoot is that "games" appear from the sky in things known as "gamecubes" that are also purple and existed long before the Nintendo Gamecube.
(Evil Dead game starts at 1:43)
(Evi Dead parody continues in this one).
Mortal Kombat
Pokemon/Dragonball Z

I also remember in a very old episode of Arthur, so old it might not come on anymore, in the word from us kids segment, the kids had to draw a picture of who they were pretending to be and tell about it. One of the kids drew and told about Mario, and a second kid was shown with a mario picture too. That's how I remember it. And sue me for watching Arthur, it's a good show.

Arcades at the movies. Some of them are Nintendo's. Here's one of them, which is from Over the Top. Mario Bros. arcade Nintendo Vs. and I believe it's Punch-Out!! First, compare the wire boxer's portraits in the top screens of the Punch-Out!! and Super Punch-Out!! arcades, and look at the wire boxer's portrait at the top screen in this screenshot below. It matches the original Punch-Out!! arcade's, cause it's larger than the wire boxer's portrait in the top screen of Super Punch-Out!! Here are more images showing Marty McFly playing Wild Gunman. This version doesn't exactly match the ones you see in real life or on MAME, because according to the people who made Back to the Future Part II, this version of Wild Gunman was made exclusively for the film. And later in Part III, he plays something similar: Mario Bros. and Donkey Kong Junior in Mr. Woodcock: Donkey Kong on the right in this screenshot of the movie "A Guy Thing". Donkey Kong in a Donkey Kong Junior cabinet in the movie "The King of Kong - A Fistful of Quaters". That's about it.

I have no comments other than pointing out how awesome it was that you picked a background element from a movie starring Earl from My Name is Earl AND one starring Randy from My Name is Earl.

I was listening to The Legend of Zelda episode of Retro Force Go! and talked about the Powerpuff Girls. In one episode, the mayor of Townsville is playing a game. They don't say which, but you hear sounds a lot like Navi saying "Hey! Listen!" The mayor kills the fairy.

Yeah, that was the episode where they needed a babysitter, and since the mayor was too busy playing OoT, Mojo Jojo filled in for him. The scene in question shows a screen from the game with Link, the heart gauge, and the A and C buttons on the HUD. Navi keeps going "hey" over and over, and the music in the background is clearly the song from the escape sequence in Ganon's Tower at the end of the game, in spite of the fact that Link looks like Young Link. The mayor walks into the walls a few times, then a big stone block falls on him, knocking off five hearts (with a message box that says "You lost five lives"). Then he clumsily swings the sword around and accidentally kills Navi, which reduces the HUD down to one heart and pulls up another message box that says "You just killed your own fairy. Start over?" I astound myself with my memory banks.

I was going to mention this. What about adding trivia to it? Like the cabinet was custom made for the movie?
