In my case, it's because I like the concept. I like the idea that Bowser got sick of his kids' constant failures and decided to make himself an improved son in his own image, mainly because it's so similar to what happened in Austin Powers. ;D

Well, the Bowser theory arose from some old thread...I think it also involved Sonic's love with Princess Nautia and what animal is Goofy.
Of course, I have theories of my own...
