Checked out NoE's DKC site once more and it does even make several references to no-pants Diddy. Including this:  LET'S ALL FOLLOW DIDDY!!!  To support the movement, download the wallpaper from NoE's site: 1024x768800x600What was up with the staff who made this site that they even had to create a wallpaper about "no pants"? ;D |

The wallpaper raises more important questions. He's showing off to this mother.... but who is his mother? Should we presume that by the fact we are the ones looking at the wallpaper, he is addressing us? Is the gamer Diddy's real mother?

I guess one could say Baby DK having the black rings around his is just another example of a Rare-style redesign. I mean, that's what happened to Cranky:  ^ Here's what he looked like in the arcade era.  ^ Here he is as designed by Rare. Notice how he shares the same black eye rings and thick brow as Rare's Super DK. |

I always figured the cowlick was a reference to Jr., meaning that him and Baby were one and the same. But how the frick old is Mario, then? He can stay spry and young while his rival, DK, becomes a frail gorilla and his nemesis, Jr., becomes a hipster? Gorillas live to like... 50, I think. If we're looking for scientific basis and the like. Because... that's... important...
