I'd like to see less cut-scenes Um...why?

To me the biggest problem in the SSE in Brawl was how repetitive the combat got. It seemed to be a "Smash the A button until the enemy dies" sort of thing, I mean it really was a button masher. So maybe if they can find a way to improve the combat against enemies like Primids, it would improve the experience. Other than that, I enjoyed SSE

Did you have a hard time with any of the bosses? At least much of their time isn't spent avoiding their attacks all the time.

I'd like to see less cut-scenes Um...why? Because they break up the action too much (so I usually skip them unless it's a particularly epic scene - of which there are about 2 or so). Also in some levels you have a cutscene, play for 5/10 minutes and then have another cutscene (the bit where Kirby and Peach/Zelda board the halberd at the beginning of the game springs immediately to mind).

Doesn't skipping the cutscenes make the SSE, uh... entirely pointless? It's not like it gives you anything else you can't get in Brawls. Except the trophies of the SSE enemies, but they all suck balls anyway. I know I wouldn't have bothered with it at all if it wasn't for the cutscenes.

I know, Kirbychu. I played SSE only for the cutscenes. SSE was pretty boring with bad controls, but the cutscenes were awesome!

If I wanted to play a game with an actual story, I'd go and play something like Fire Emblem or Phoenix Wright. Melee's Adventure mode was fine without any story to speak of, so I don't know why they put one in Brawl. Anyway, can we get back on topic, ja?

Yeah, it's not like we can ever view them again in the Data menu or on YouTube or whatever. I think the cutscenes gave the SSE more...life. To make it more invigorating and to move you along, regardless of what point you're at. (And we pretty much are kinda on topic)

Anyway, can we get back on topic, ja? What the hell are you smoking? We are on topic. If I'm not mistaken, the cutscenes are an integral part of the SSE and this is an SSE thread.

I'll be honest, the story actually did intrigue me.
It was also good fun seeing all of the characters' personalities interact amongst each other.
Dialogue or no dialogue, I don't care. They pulled off many moments very well in these cutscenes.
Though I'd like to see them meet up with other minor characters (NPCs). That's where ideas for my SSE remake come right in...

I still won't be happy until the real characters' universes cross over as opposed to the alternate SSB universe with the trophies and everything. Kinda takes away from it all.
For the record, I don't the think the characters are clones or living trophies. I see it as more of an alternate merged universe where all the characters live on the continent from tSsE.

In separate "planets" or "interconnected worlds" or whatever the heck? Or highly notable locales from most Nintendo games clumped together in one chunk of land? Which reminds me, one thing I did like about Melee's Adventure was the scene where Zebes explodes and we go over to Pop Star. Almost like that?

I mean an actual crossover. Not a pre-established alternate universe where the characters all conveniently live on the same landmass and turn into trophies instead of dying.

I got that, but "how would this crossover world be made?" is what I was asking.

Some may like the platforming and game play of it. I know I would, but Intense mode was BS.
