Have you ever seen anybody talk about Space Channel 5? I haven't.

Have you ever seen anybody talk about Space Channel 5? I haven't. Exactly. Why should we complain about SSE's "Canonocity" while a real world person appearing in a somewhat obscure game is far more interesting?

Retorical question time: Have any of you seen anyone arguing about whether or not Michael fucking Jackson appearing in Space Channel 5 is "canon"? You know, I think that might be one of the most brilliant posts ever ;D

SSB IS Canon... Master Hand DID create the worlds and characters and based them off all nintendo games (even though he just got an interest in third party characters), there WAS a Tabuu and subspace, And R.O.B. WAS the leader of a high tech robot tribe without any knowledge of anyone wxcept maybe Master Hand.
And if I'm not mistaken, the original Master Hand was the player. And the wire frames were created by some evil scientist, which could mean the first two are probably not canon.
And if the characters were all transported to a different world as a smash bros. story, it would be a different canonocity.

Eh... just ignore him. Is it me, or does nobody actually read/comprehend/look at the context of the posts on this board anymore? I wasn't debating anything. I'm already well aware that SSB is it's own world with replicas of the different universes. Instead Flip and I were trying to figure out how the universes themselves would collide if an actual crossover were to take place. The Game n00b just doesn't know how to read.

Doing a super-crossover like that is something I've always considered a neat project. Of course for Smash Brothers, it's easier to go with what Brawl did (trophies coming to life) or find some reason for the 'real' characters to be pulled into some alternate universe.

I already explained how they would crossover.
EDIT: And it's only one possibility too.

...Do you have to get all sensitive about before when you post these? That wasn't a serious statement, mind you.[/quote] Doesn't make you any less of a dick, or give me any less reason to be one back >

Well, for SSE2, let's begin as SSE ended. Master Hand is dead and Tabuu killed him, who was then killed himself. This leaves Crazy Hand in control of the Smash World, and with him being a bit crazy, he remakes the world into a true kitbash of Nintendo Universes with no rhyme or reason, including more Nintendo-themed enemies and even a few towns which would have speaking characters who could explain the plot better than what we got from the first one. Of course, we will have Ganondorf, Bowser, Ridley, and the Pig King each trying to take over in the power vacuum, thus making most of the foes in the game from Mario, Zelda, Metroid, and Earthbound, but with Pokemon, Pikmin, and Fire Emblem also donating a few foes. However, something weird is happening also... Mr. Game & Watch and R.O.B. are missing and Shadow Bug versions of famous Nintendo enemies, INCLUDING the ROB Squads are abound, hinting at perhaps a stronger evil hidden in the wings.

This leaves Crazy Hand in control of the Smash World I very, very, VERY much like this part of the idea (rest is fine but this what has the most potential, as you could go anywhere from this).

It's simple: Master Hand is an entity that created the Smash Bros. world, right? Well then, what the hell is stopping him from visiting the real worlds he based it on? I reckon he's like Unicron: There's only one of him in all of existence, and he's able to phase through the many universes at will.

Which would clearly be Crazy Hand controlled by Tingle, AMIRITE?
