There's no way in hell they're putting a boss character from a Mario spin-off in the next Smash Bros. Good try on the moveset though.
Hmmm, I don't really understand why that would'nt work really. They got trophies from SPM and all that, and that it would be unlikely to put in a "boss" is also rather odd, we got characters like Bowser, Ganondorf and Dedede right? Aren't they usually bosses?
Anyways, another character idea is a Japan only character that I have babbled about for a long time.
DeMille from "Tomato Adventure" (Or Mato Adventure as some prefer to call it)...
It is a rather obscure RPG made by AlphaDreams before their famous Mario&Luigi RPG series. Infact, the engine used in M&L is same as Tomato Adventure. So I think Demille deserve some credit
As for his abilities, there are LOTS of ideas for abilities and attacks, considering that the game featured over 20 weapons for each character! Ranging from cog yoyo's to sneaker cars, mini-volcanoes, magnetic gloves, croc hookshots, and lots lots more...
Offcourse this makes finding good ideas for his Special abilities difficult, buuuuuut, Ricepigeon did have some interesting ideas on abilities which inspired me:
Standard A: Cog YoYo- he will use his trademark weapon, the cog yoyo to do some nasty combos on you...
Forward A: K-WoofWoof- he get's a pair of boxing gloves and does a powerfull punch/Kick COmbo with the final kick launching the oppoent.
Up A: Upwards CogYoYo- he makes a swing with his cogyoyo upwards...
Down A: Tail BunBun- he uses a Tanooki tail to spin around, hitting low enemies (simhilair to the Tanooki spin in SMB3)...
Running A: Tail BunBun Spinner- he uses the Tanooki tail again, but this time spinning in the direction he's running...
Forward Smash: Rolling Riceball- Demille summons a big stone riceball which he uses to smash the opponent. A bít like Charizard's RockSmash...
Up Smash: Angry Volcano- he holds a mini volcano above his head in a protective stance while charging the attack, when it attacks, it will blast out a small ray of fire from it's crater, hitting anyone above Demille...
Down Smash: Noisy Face- he pick ups a club with a ball attached to it which he swings up and smashes it down on the floor causing a small tremor and huge damage on the one hit by the attack...
Intro: He appears in a sneacar, jumps out of it, and the sneacar drives away...
Air A: Aerial CogYoYo- Same yoyo attacj but in the air...
Air Forward A: King Meow- He does a cross shaped Slashing move based on one of his weapons...
Air Up A: BiteBite- Demille uses a croc looking uh... scissor? To chomp the opponent, aiming it above his head...
Air Down A: KamiKami- He uses a big paper crane which he smacks down on the opponent bellow him...
Air Back A: RevengeDragon- A tiny purple lizard with a tiny scythe appears on Demille's back and spews fire at the oppoent behind Demille...
Throws: Pyramet, all throws involves him using a special Pyramid hat to psychically throw the opponent in a desired direction. Will look something like Mewtwo's throws...
Standard B: Crayon Artillery- It's actually a weapon used by his friend Aretha, but what the heck, Ness & Lucas also borrowed someone else's powers
. Demille uses a special backpack which he charge (like Samus' Blast, or Lucarios Orb) and finally launch several semi homing crayon missiles, more according to how long he charged the attack...
Forward B: Bananasnowboard- Demille summons a huge banana and rides up on it like a snowboard. if he hits someone or something, then he will leap in the air with the banana. Note that while sliding on the banana, he can turn it to face the direction he wants, a bit like Wario's bike...
Up B: JetBoard- It's actually from a minigame, but it does work. Something like ROB's jetpack ability, Demille uses a hover board to ascend up, but like ROB's jetpack, it will lose fuel after a while. BUT, the flames caused by the Jetboard can toast anyone beneath it...
Down B: MagnetGloves- He uses a pair of magnetic gloves to create a boulder of junk that he then can throw like a box item...
FINALSMASH idea1: Gulp Choco- he picksup a big block of chocolate, waking the interest of a huge Frog Like Pacman esque thing that chases him down across the entire level from left to right, up and down in a random manner...
FINALSMASH idea2: Patharan's Song- Demille picks up a small recorder which plays a cute song which ends up causing a bolt of light to hit Demille, and elctrifying him. During a set period of time, he will be invincible, and anyone touching him will suffer damage from the electricity, that and he deals more damage now...
Taunts: One of his taunts would have him raise his hand up in the air in a triumphant way. Another taunt would be him looking very very confused (like he does in the game), the final one would have him playing with his Cog YoYo...
Winposes: His first win pose would involve him doing the same victory pose like in the original game, ie: He jumps in a joyfull manner...
His second winpose would involve him showing off some tricks with his CogYoYo which accidently ensares himself and causes him to fall... (clumsy idiot)
As for his lose pose, he would stand in the background doing angry chestures. Waving his arms angrily, blah blah blah...
Confused? It's only natural I guess, it's a rather obscure game after all. XD

And finally, as for his theme, I was thinking of a remake of his Battle theme in a Surfing Guitar fasion...
