...So I think a neat idea for R.O.B. next game would be to have his alt. colors reflect all of Nintendo's systems. Blue/white for Wii, Black for N64, Game Boy Grey and Purple, and so on. Like how Brawl had SNES R.O.B.

I'd just like to what Sean would say if Goroh does get into the next Smash... So yeah, he's saying that he'spissed because Falcon's F-ZERO portrayal is the popular one and would rather not have any F-ZERO rep at all as a result.... ....Sean, you sound just like that WhatTheDarn guy from the DKU who insisted Snake shouldn't be there because he's known for being pacifistic.  Honestly, both you and Arcadenik are spewing ridiculousness all over. I'd like to see what Fry or Underwear think of this matter, because I really don't know what to say at this point... |

What's so bad about Captain Falcon using a Falcon Punch? I'd say pretty much every character in Smash has a meme to go with them. (LANDMASTER!)
I'd also have to say that F-Zero is presented better than most franchises, considering IT'S A FUCKING RACING GAME! The F-Zero stages are fast paced RACING levels, Captain Falcon is fast because he RACES, and...aw what's the point. I've learned my lesson in dealing with purists when I tried to defend Snake when he was announced.

I don't know if what I'm spewing all over is ridiculousness but think about it though. In retrospect, in 1999 and 2001 when SSB and Melee came out, which playable characters were often used by Nintendo to advertise their franchises and which characters seem more like the ones many dedicated fans would likely recognize that the mainstream audience probably wouldn't? Fast forward to 2006 and 2008, which characters in Brawl would the mainstream audience most likely recognize and which characters in Brawl would the dedicated fans most likely recognize? I hope they are fairly reasonable questions to ask. |

I haven't seen Nintendo doing anything like that with any of F-Zero characters except Captain Falcon. Anything like the calendar? Well, there's the cover of F-Zero GX with the 4 original F-Zero characters, and Samurai Goroh also does appear in the F-Zero anime. And he was given a racer wife and child during the 2000s. I'm not a hardcore fan of F-Zero, so I can't remember anything that would resemble that artwork. Almost nobody knows why they made Samurai Goroh an Assist Trophy instead of a playable character. But there's a reason why he of all F-Zero characters was made an Assist Trophy. He's one of the main characters in F-Zero fiction. Who knows, the same way you can theorize that the forbidden seven were going to be playable (because you don't know it; you theorize it), you can say the same about Assist Trophies and major Pokémon. And not necessarily because of their inability to fight even if it applies to a few. Expecting Black Shadow was a "> 100 IQ" conclusion because the roster hadn't been fully revealed, Goroh had been revealed as an Assist Trophy and Black Shadow is a villain in F-Zero. They won't make Smash 4. I'm calling it. How about Smash2 Part 1? |

Yeah, I know about the anime and the GX cover art, but even that didn't help Samurai Goroh anyway, but at least he's an AT. Also, I like coming up with theories and ideas for the rosters even if its not the popular opinion. I go out of my way to Google search Nintendo's history and their franchises. Its fun and educational at the same time.  |

Super Smash RPG would be awesome.  Also, the idea of a Super Mario Smash Bros. game with only the characters from the Marioverse (this includes DK, Wario, and Yoshi characters) always appealed me. ;D |

Yeah this is why I made my topic. We're still trying to predict what will be in SSB4 instead of having fun making OUR own roster.
There's no way of knowing what he'll do next. That's why you gotta get that Sakurai outta your head and come to my poll!

Personally I've avoided posting anything in this thread because its been epic levels of stupid since page 1. I haven't read it recently so I don't know what knew piece of retardation has been posted, but I can say with confidence, without even reading it, that whatever argument has been put down, by whatever person it is, is retarded. And all counter arguments against it are also retarded. The Smash Bros forum is now where sane rational arguments go to die. And as that argument dies it has defecated retardation on everything around it. And I'm out. Bye bye. |
