Future Smash Bros. stage ideas[/u]
Not characters, not items, not Assist Trophies, but for another Smash Bros., my stage ideas are what I still hold onto for the next Smash above all else. I've gone over these a lot before, but now here's just the right place to post them. Why stages anyway? Let's just say that coming up with them is a lot less stressful than with the other parts of the series.
I usually link music entries to YouTube, but I won't for those that most of you already know about. Anything with a * denotes that it would be a new arrangement exclusive to this future Smash.
Gateway Galaxy (Super Mario Galaxy)
Now, to recreate the experience of that game, here’s a stage that will have your head spinning! You’re on a spherical planet with its own gravitational pull. Don’t worry if you’re at or near the bottom of the planet, your controls will switch depending on what angles you’re standing on. Lumas appear everywhere on this stage.
Be wary, though. KO’ing people here isn’t as easy as you’d think. Sending your opponents flying forward only sends them further across the planet. So here, you must rely on sending your opponents upwards. Or you can just use the Star Bits that fall onto it and throw them at your opponents, simple.

Mario PartyRelive this party in Smash. The background has several tents (based on MP8's Star Carnival), confetti falling all over the place, and right near the brawling grounds are an oversized Mario cap and also oversized, upside-down magician's hat.
The terrain is comprised entirely of spaces. Each with their own effects:
Blue Space = Nothing. Just a safe spot.
Red Space = May have hazards like spikes and what-not.
? Space = Causes random effects to occur.
Dice Blocks appear often and dish out items, depending on the number rolled. The higher the number, the more useful/stronger the item it deals.
After a while, any mini-game begins. Not sure whether these should be interactive or just for background show...

Mekanos (Donkey Kong Country 3)
That factory area from DKC3. It's quite a large stage with many tricks and traps.
It's quite a big stage, but not as painfully large as monsters like New Pork City. There are a few swinging and unstable platforms here and there. A few damaging vats of acid to boot.
Every so often, the alarm will sound and a crosshair will appear and track down and shoot at players if it catches them. If it locks onto you, try your best to avoid it when it fires! If you do get locked on, you can even pass it onto other players! Just touch them to give it to them! Makes for a ferocious game of crosshair tag.

An original stage in Smash? Here, we're on a locomotive of some sort bound for many places across Dream Land! Nothing too special happens on the train itself, but it does stop at many a station frequently. You can even see passengers boarding and leaving.
You can even spot the characters Fatty Whale, Dyna Blade, and many more at certain points. Enjoy that scenery.
This stage is to serve as a mishmash of all the most common Kirby locales such as Float Islands, Bubbly Clouds, Butter Building, Peanut Plains, Mallow Castle, Dyna Blade's Mountain etc. etc.

King Dedede's Castle (Kirby series)
It's how it appears in some Super Star Ultra cutscenes. You're all fighting on its rooftop. Every so often, the blimp Kabula will come by and shoot down the players.
...Well, the rest can be up to you at this point.

Balloon FightObviously, the setting is exactly like that of the NES game.
Along with a set of scattered terrain, the Flippers everywhere will knock you around.
And when you hear a tune of some sort play (the one heard when you start the first level, to be precise), enemy balloonists will appear on the battleground and will fly around on balloons to bump you around (this won't deal any damage, but it sure is a pain to put up with). They can be attacked and have their balloons popped. Once they are, they can be attacked once more and will plummet into the water below.
If you get too close to the water, a Big Fish will appear to chomp away at you. Be careful!

Balloon Fight Noises (a "special" track, where there isn't any actual music, but all the sound effects from the original game go along with the actions during the match)
Mii ChannelTime to relive the experience of the Miis! The Miis that appear here are the ones that are saved on your Wii's Mii Channel.
Every so often, they will carelessly walk onto the battlegrounds and can be picked up. And thrown at others.

Greenhorn Forest (Wario World)
The first area from Wario World appears. It seems plain at first glance, but every so often, you'll see various monsters from the game running amok (even some like one of the dinos being chased by those turtle things). Most of the time, some of them may fall unconscious into the battlefield and can be used to pick up and throw at others.

These are just a few of them for now, I may post some more afterwards.
