I never played Twisted Metal and Vigilante 8. I just remember seeing that flaming clown head in video game magazines 10 years ago.

Well, that would imply that there has been a good handheld F-Zero...and there has been no such thing. ;D F-Zero just wasn't meant to translate from consoles to handhelds, so I'd prefer if the concept was abandoned altogether in favor of actual quality titles. The GBA F-Zeros felt almost as pseudo-shovelwarey as every Mario Party game after the first one did. That's an opinion. I loved GP Legend. And I know people who enjoyed Maximum Velocity. And Climax is the Japanese one we never got that's meant to be AMAZING for everyone. And I meant the DS one would be 3D like X. I think it's unable to be done with motion control and with the imperfections of said control, the speed is too much. I just want proof Nintendo cares about F-Zero beyond Kamen Rider Smash Captain Falcon and Wii Music cameos.

So you are essentially saying that the original F-Zero is shovelware as well, given that the GBA titles are done identical to it (especially Maximum Velocity, which is virtually the same blasted game down to the engine). Two fewer buttons does not shovelware make, especially considering they fixed so many things that the SNES game has wrong with it (pit areas are instant and regenerate faster, Climax finally drops it to three laps, GP Legend and Climax drop the invincible rubber band AI and make boosts useful in grand prix, multiplayer...).

Hm? Well back on topic.
it seems the vehicles are animal based (well obviously) what type of animals do you suppose they'll include in this game?

Nah, the DKU is all but dead. I hardly even post there anymore myself.
I kinda hope this game has the sense to include homages to the cars from Stunt Race FX, but that's purely wishful thinking on my part.

I left when Sean left, because the spirit just sorta was gutted by morons.
Stunt Race FX cars would be great. Someone actually find the mailing address to the development team's HQ and ask.

Here's Monster Games website, but the only email addresses are for resume's and game devlopment work. I did hear someone emailed the MG's president on NeoGAF though, I'll try looking into that. EDIT: Found the NeoGAF post where a guy emailed the MG's President and got a response, here it is. "Yes, Excitebots is our game. I didn't know that it was going to be announced. In fact, I heard about the announcement from you. Unfortunately, I can't talk about the title or any of our future plans. If you liked Excite Truck, you will find a lot to enjoy in the new game. Best Regards, Richard Garcia President Monster Games, Inc." Yeah, I don't think the chances of getting info are very good Dasher.

TRAILER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Watch it now!Notes: - Its got some nice sound effects, I swear the ladybug bot jumping sound effect is just a Mario jump sped up. - There's some pretty weird stunts (Super Sandwich anyone?) - A green circle meter appears at the bottom of the screen when a "bot" runs on its hind legs and the remote is tiped up/down to make it run.
