"Star-fee" is probably the correct pronunciation, but I do pronounce it "Staff-ee" with the Japanese spelling. That's one of the reasons I thought Starfy made more sense. Much like the old Sukapon argument. It's not Soo-kuh-pon... So the English name would probably become Suckapon. Or something completely different, because I certainly wouldn't want to play as a pink robot called Suckapon... especially one made of balls! NoA would probably render Sukapon's name as Scarpon and give him Angry Eyebrows to constrast his pinkness and cuteness |

Nothing...nothing's wrong.
It's just that several people were thinking it's going to be like some of the front covers of the latest Kirby games excluding Kirby Super Star Ultra. Worst of all, PyroGuy128 used the front cover of Densetsu no Starfy 4, which it's actually Taiketsu! Dire Kaizokudan planned for release worldwide. People should not compare the Starfy series to the Kirby series too much.

It's a joke, parrothead. Since Kirby and Stafy are commonly compared as characters and style.

Besides Kirby, some people compared Starfy to Kirby's Warp Star, the Hungry Lumas from Super Mario Galaxy, the stars from the Care Bears series, Twink from Paper Mario and Carbuncle from the Puyo Puyo series.
