It's quite interesting to see Nintendo changes from "We won't localize this thing" to advertising originally Japnese franchises with all might.
It's a good thing, I'd say. And there are just a lot of Japan-only stuff that deserves localization.

And there are just a lot of Japan-only stuff that deserves localization. 1. My thoughts exactly. I'd actually kill for a Starfy TV anime series. 2. I can name them right about now: -Marionation Gear (a highly likely localized name for Chosoju Mecha MG) Not entirely familiar with this myself, but it looks like it could qualify. -Kurukuru Kururin Starting with the Helirin appearing as an Assist Trophy in Brawl? Possible. -Doshin the Giant As great as it would be, Doshin's company, Param, went under. Ugh, no getting this one out of the woodwork now? -Panel de Pon Habit of personifying other series aside, I heard there'll be a DSiWare out of this. -Cubivore Eh, so this one may not qualify as "Japan Only", but does it really have a chance of surfacing once more? That game did look interesting... That's all of them for now, though. Edit: Just reached the true final boss of this game, with one word to say about it: CLAKKITY!!! |

I'm surprised we don't have Marionation Gear and Jet Impulse here yet. They both seem like ideal games for a localisation treatment. Better than "Style Savvy" and "Fossil Fighters" anyway.  |

Judging by the past records of DS games, in particular DS games with a cute protagonist - probably mid next year.
8th of October for Starfy? So are there any other releases planned for the gap (JB exclusive Punch Out) or are Nintendo Aus being lazy fuckers again?
