Well, this is the day the game comes out now, isn't it? Anyone fortunate enough to get it yet? I'm not interested in Disney at all. Therefore, I most likely won't be seeing the commercial on the large screen; however, I'm thinking about just walking in to record it, then go back to where another movie is played at. Isn't that film theft? Dude, that's illegal. I knew that, but read below "MODIFY" in my previous post. I wasn't trying to record the movie. I was trying to record the Starfy commercial in a theater to see if Nintendo Life was correct about it or not. But I didn't see the commercial. I saw one of my cousins and her family going to see it, so I'll ask her if she saw it or not. And no, it comes out on June 8th; however, I received an e-Mail from them saying it's on June 7th.

Another intro portion. Starfy and the other characters expressions remind me of the Muppets when they opens there mouths really big and there eyes go big and cartoony as well.
I wonder how easy it would be to make a Starfy puppet/muppet toy?

That's probably one reason why NoA thought was okay to bring outside of Japan. Anyway, I didn't go to the June 7th event, due to none of the locations not being close enough to my home, while my big sister wanted me to run with her over to a market in a town above our hometown. I heard surfingpikachu7 on YouTube that "The event, wasn't really much of an event, but they gave away free Starfy pencils, paper crowns and a coloring page (based on the box art)."
MODIFIED:
The Legendary Starfy is now released, but I haven't got to preorder it due to being stuck with some life concerns at home, especially studying for the final exam in the XHTML Fundamentals class at the college I go to.
I may or may not buy it today, but as soon as I finish the final exam and settle my other life concerns down, I'll ask my big sister if we can run out to a nearby town and do several things along with going to a GameStop store. However, if it's around 4:00 PM or later, then no one won't feel like running out to any place.

Well, I didn't buy the English version of the fifth game today, but I probably will tomorrow. Recently, someone by the username of icefire2626 (YouTube) or icefir2626 (GameFAQs) sent me three photos of The Legendary Starfy special event that were taken in one of these Toys 'R" Us locations, which is at the one on 22035 Hawthorne Blvd., Torrance, CA 90503.

It's really quite sad... look at that store (which is quite similar to stores here) and then look at those in Japan. Toys R Us looks bare and cheap, while Japanese stores lavish attention on everything.
I wonder if there's a gap in the market there...

Starfy review from IGN scored 8.9 out of 10 and got an editors choice award. The score seems odd. Sounds like it should have scored higher but all in all TLS sounds like a good entertaining game. Closing Comments For those looking for another impressive core Nintendo franchise to obsess about for the next few dozen years, Starfy is your man. Combining some of the best elements from games like Kirby, Donkey Kong Country, Little Nemo, and Mario himself, TOSE’s latest offering is a DS gem, and brings about more content and diversity than almost any other sidescroller on the system. You’ve got five main mini-games (all wireless supported), a drop-in/drop-out two player mode for specific bosses and levels, plenty of great level design that pushes the core experience, and more collection and “un-game” offerings than you could ever hope to fully explore. The only real downside to the game is that it’s so over-the-top and cluttered with modes and options that most young players could be pretty overwhelmed pretty fast. When the biggest problem out there is that there’s too much to see you’ve got a winner on your hands.oooo....that Stafy commerical is pretty kickin'. All fantastical and whatnot. Nintendo needs advertising like that for the rest of their games. Somewhere out there . . . The yellow robot frog and the rest of the bots from ExciteBots are crying and playing sad tunes with their tamberines.

Excite Bots got a 4/10 in Edge, so I doubt Nintendo wants to draw too much attention to it Glad to see Starfy has successfully landed in America with the scores to back him up. I hope NoA realises the error of their ways for not bringing him to GBA!

Or they could just release a compilation DS cart of the first 4 Stafy titles...

I finally bought the game and I noticed some differences: * When starting up the Japanese version, during the part where Starfy and Starly run up to each other and join with their hands while smiling, you hear a cute voice shouting "Nintendo!" After beating the game, a slower, but equally pitched version of the voice is sometimes heard. Both of these were removed from the English version. * The scenes in the Japanese version are shown in manga-style, while the English version shows them in comic-style. * In the Japanese version, at the end of Level 1-1, Moe shouts something that sounds like "Ikuzou!" while he jumps on the exit platform. In the English version, he didn't say anything while he left. "Ikuzou" means " I'll go", but, it implies something like "All of you must follow me". * In both the Japanese version and Starfy 4, the Mermaid shouts "Hi hi!", while in the English version, she shouts "Hii!" These are all that I found right now. Are there others? And here is another photograph:
