At the moment I'm just putting up what has been drawn.
Might redo some of the pics as well. Bubbles has three fingers, dagnabbit, and I wasn't too happy with how Takamaru came out once he'd been resized.
Also, Popo is ready to go up soon.

I just had to change my avatar before posting again...
I'm planning on playing some of the most popular obscure games (such as the ones the characters in the Nintendo Stars section belong to) sometime in the near future, but unfortunately, I'm just a conformist who cares more about the Mario, The Legend Of Zelda and Pokémon franchises than any other, so I'll be honest and make make comments concerning them. Red and Blue seem to be the most appropiate names for the Pokémon RBY hero and rival, respectively, and the Link theory provided by Fryguy is very reasonable and is more or less the general consensus. Great job! (I just to include a lame suck-up comment). And will Toad, Bowser, Yoshi, Peach and Wario get their own pages? Wario is likely to, but the rest have equal right. They have had playable starring roles in the main platform and RPG games.

Wario has been a hero more than a villain (although his heroism is questionable in all cases) so he will definitely be added to the Hero list. Bowser, for the reverse reason, will not be added until I do villains. Peach and Toad may be held off until later. They're both worthy of a hero role, but are still more "secondary" characters. Secondary characters will be done when I do villains. It's more a question of "well, what role do they usually play" when categorising them. Mario could very well be a villain for his role in Donkey Kong Jr., but that doesn't mean that's going to happen

Right, two more characters are up! Everyone loves the Ice Climbers, so I provide you with a Popo. And don't complain that he's blonde. He's always been blonde except for SSBM. Everyone loves Zelda EVEN MORE, so here is the original hero from the NES games (and Game & Watch game), Link. That's Link, not Linktheherooftime, or Linktheheroofwinds, or even Linkthelegendaryhero... just Link! And don't complain that he's NOT blonde. He wasn't. He was ginger. It's all in the official artwork people! Who next? Who DESERVES to be next? Come on people, have an argument or something. I know you want to!

For the Links, I take it you will do the 'New Link every two games' thinking that I subscribe too?
Next? Professor Hector!

LoZ+G&W+AoL = Link LttP+LA = Link (Hero of Legend) OoT+MM = Link (Hero of Time) WW = Link (Hero of Winds)
I suspect the Oracles star the Hero of Time. I don't like the idea of it being a whole new Link. As for Four Swords and Minish Cap - the design suggests that it's the Hero of Winds, but I've not played any of them.
Besides... I want the "grown-up" Link to be the Hero of Winds. That would be excellent.

Once you assume that Oracles Link is the same Link as X Link, your entering into speculation. Especially since Zelda and Link don't recognize eachother ffrom previous adventures in those games.

Am I the only person who thinks that the Oracle games must have the same Link as LA, since the final Oracle ending featured Link going away on a boat and LA started with Link on a boat. I know this isn't much proof but I thought it was like how the ending to Dragon Quest III revealed that it was really a prequel to I&II right at the end (sorry if I just spoiled DWIII for anyone).

I guess most of the stars I'm going to suggest are pretty mainstream:
Kirby Red (Ash/Jack/Satoshi) Pikachu Captain Olimar Captain Falcon Samus Aran Donkey Kong Laughing dog from Duck Hunt Ryota Hayami Mach Rider Todd/Snap from Pokémon Snap Ness Marth Eliwood Roy Wario
And finally:
Link (Hero Of Legend) Link (Hero Of Time) Link (Hero Of Winds)
And even though it may appear that Link, Hero Of... Oracles is either the Hero Of Time or the Hero Of Legend, if you stick to the "One-Link-every-two-games" theory most people will agree with you.
Plus, not only do Zelda and Link not recognize each other in the Oracle games, as Masamune pointed out, but Impa looks different. We've seen her in the two first Zelda games as an old woman and in the Hero Of Time games as a normal-looking Sheikah woman, but in the Oracle games she's a large fat woman.
But I think the only exception to the "One-Link-every-two-games" theory are ·Four Swords Adventures" and "Minish Cap". From the way Link and the Darknuts look in the cover art of FSA, we can almost be sure he is the Hero Of Winds. And the Minish Cap is likely to feature him too. And for some reason, I'm convinced FSA and the Minish Cap will never be counted as part of the main series, which only seems to have 8 games in its library now, so maybe it doesn't matter.
BTW, isn't Link from the Oracle games called the Hero Of Essence or something?

Heh heh heh... Hero of Essence. That's as bad as Hero of Winds. Any more and people will start thinking Link has flatulence problems. ;D
Anyway, I'll try to avoid doing any more Links for now. Seems to cause nothing but trouble wherever he goes. Curse his fragile storyline.
Hmm... maybe it's time to think about doing Samus.

How about "Boy" and "Girl" from Animal Forest/Crossing?
Ohh... and someone from Advance Wars... maybe that kid with the wrench.
Also, it's a diffrent RAY in Custom Robo for GCN, but he's not really the main character.
