Why is the European box better and the American one lame? Oh right... Not enough American Kirby tough on it. Actually, that American boxart is rated "RP" (Rating Pending), which usually indicates it is not the final boxart. I've seen too many "not final boxarts" in my time running this site that I refuse to accept RP boxes any more. Happy?

God knows it, but there is one good thing about it: It's fairly stand-out. I can't count the number of times I've seen perfectly good games surrounded by shovelware and crap and almost missed them for the dull box-art. Us American's will DEFINATELY see Spirit Tracks on shelves for all its grayness because Link's so friggin' bright green he's practically radiating Krypton. Any brighter and he could kill Superman.

Besides, I won't buy any game where the protagonist isn't mad as hell.

Its the kind of imagery that we Americans love. Its precisely why we got Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland and you guys didn't.

UK Commercial with sexy collector's tin.
Do my eyes deceive me, or does that guy walking behind Zelda have a beak?

Europe = Win Boxart.
US = FAIL. God, that's atrocious.
That's all I have to say about this Zelda. For some reason, the DS ones come off as really gimmicky to me, and I have no interest in them whatsoever.

It'll be interesting to see what TEi thinks about Zelda's portrayal this time.

UK Commercial with sexy collector's tin. Do my eyes deceive me, or does that guy walking behind Zelda have a beak? After much freeze-framing, I think that guy is one of the pirates from Tetra's ship, specifically the tall beefy one. I can'y be sure, of course.

Yeah, that new trailer showed him in more detail. Although, he would have to be pretty damn old if he's one of the Wind Waker Pirates. And here's some new artwork.

Kinda looks like Tetra as a senior citizen... and a leprechaun hiding his horns.
