I don't see what's wrong with the teeth, personally. Oh, but I just thought of something I've been wondering about...
The only DK games I've actually played since Rare left have been Jungle Beat and Jet Race/Barrel Blast. One of those doesn't feature Cranky, and the other portrays him as a... fairly friendly wise old man. It was somewhat disturbing having him be so nice all through the tutorials. In the other recent games is Cranky still... well, cranky?

I was pretty taken aback at his portrayal in Barrel Blast, but if I remember correctly, he's pretty cranky in Jungle Climber. By the way, Jungle Climber is a fantastic game and I urge you to play it.

Yeah, he's still pretty grumpy in King of Swing as well.

On a related note, I'm currently deciding to pick up a DK game or two, of the following:
Jungle Beat Jungle Climber Barrel Blast Mario VS DK 2 (Don't know if this totally counts)
Which of these should I go with first of all? You know, the most recommended.

Jungle Beat. If you go into it without expecting it to be Donkey Kong Country, then you will enjoy it.

Jungle Climber. It beats the hell out of everything else on there. I also recommend Barrel Blast second. It's actually better and more fun to play than Mario Kart Wii.

Are you kidding me?! Barrel Blast was terrible! XD
Despite it being more visually appealing than Mario Kart Wii and featuring those lovely new Kremlings, Barrel Blast was disappointing.

I played Barrel Blast for all of one day. Good minigame... bad game. XD
Jungle Beat was awesome. My favourite DK game so far.

I'd say it's about average, really. Barrel Blast has it's ups and downs. If they make a sequel, they really need to go the extra mile, but it's a decent game.

I would love to see a new Mario vs. Donkey Kong sequel with Donkey Kong Jr. and Stanley. Yes, Donkey Kong Jr., even when he looks exactly the same as the original Donkey Kong Jr., and is the son of the original Donkey Kong Jr. (the current Donkey Kong) and the grandson of the original Donkey Kong (Cranky Kong).

Yes it would be a lot better to have a classic style Donkey Kong game with classic characters instead of new ones.

Well, the last Mario & Donkey Kong game did feature the entire cast of the original Donkey Kong...

Which consisted of all of...three characters. Not really much you can do with that. Now if there were to be a Mario v.s Donkey Kong 3, I'd prefer they do something completely different. Something nobody will see coming... Wario vs. Donkey Kong! ;D

Or add in newer characters. I'd like to see a modern rendition of DK '94 which supports two players, Mario and Luigi, versus Donkey Kong and to replace DK Jr., use Diddy Kong.
