I used to shake my Pokémon Pikachu 2 GS up to gain points.
As such, to gain points on the Pokéwalker, try some rapidly vibrating thing: such as the paint can mixer at the local hardware store or discount store.

Frieda of Friday:Wizzle yes! I'm glad those guys are back. This reminds me: is there any way to delete phone numbers from the PokeGear? I sincerely don't need to listen to the damn thing start ringing every time Joey on Route bumblefuck wants to tell me how shitty his awesome Rattata is (yeah, I know). Or why on earth Ethan feels the need to call me up to take the starters I didn't choose onto certain routes. Shit, I don't need most of the numbers you're forced to take! The only one I want to hold onto for now is the Safari Zone guy's so he can tell me when the Johto Safari Zone opens. You'd have figured, ten years later GameFreak would have, you know, done something about this little game mechanic flaw. As such, to gain points on the Pokéwalker, try some rapidly vibrating thing

The phone will become useful later, around the time you get to Clair. They'll call, wanting to rebattle. Useful for easy exp at that point.
I'm in Whirl Islands, BTW. Have the Lure Bell and the Silver Wing, plus all eight badges.

If I don't get my own place by this summer, I'm taking mine on the Appalachian Trail. I'll have an Onix and a Geodude and a Machop and call myself Hiker Shrikes. Ain't no bitch who can do it like me. =P
Of course, first I gotta get the game. *Cue countless facepalms and SMB death jingle.*

Hmm... I'm already tired of Joey calling x-D
Calling for battles like in Crystal will be fun, but still, I wish there was a delete option too.

Sooo I'm wondering, how does one actually catch 'mon with that Pokewalker thing? You just walk around with it, connect to your DS and suddenly a bunch of monsters get dumped into your box? 4 more days uggghh

Select the battle mode ("Poké Radar"), and a set of 6 grass patches appears, with exclamation marks appearing randomly in one of them. You select it as quickly as possible, and the battle starts if you succeed. As the battle starts, there's a simplified combat system with only attack, evade and catch as commands, and each party has 4 HP. Lower the wild Pokémon's HP as much as possible, and use the catch command. Later, you can import the caught Pokémon to your DS Card and they'll be automatically deposited in a box. Just 1 week and mine already got a scratch

I can't wait til Easter, I'm getting Soul Silver to go along with my Heart Gold haha. I wonder if they are going to make a remake of a Crystal like game, or if its going to be like FR and LG and only have two.

I was frustrated by seeing this at first because the topic of a Crystal remake has been brought up soooo many times, but then I remembered that you're relatively new to the forums, so...yeah. That said, everything that was unique to Crystal is in HGSS, so there's no reason for them to remake Crystal.

They'd have to come up with something else but I doubt they would. *UPDATE ON TEAM* Yea I got bored with my current team so I decided to restart my game with a new team. Currenltly Bayleef, Tini (The Dratini creative I know ) and Munchlax

Heading into Victory Road. I have both of the Legendary Cats you can catch at this point, and Lugia. Sooo many Legendaries.... If you think 2gen had a lot of legendaries, then 3gen and 4gen must have driven you bonkers ;D Anyway, I haven't boasted my team yet, I think: Burnerman (Blaziken), currently level 36 Skullman (Dusknoir), currently level 37 Flashman (Xatu), currently level 35 Needleman (shiny Bulbasaur), currently level 36 Plugman (Lanturn), currently level 37 Napalmman (Houndoom), currently level 36 I've got most of the moves I'd anticipated giving them (still haven't found Energy Ball for Needleman), and...yeah, things. Needleman is a particular mark of pride for me: my goal is to make him more of a pain in the ass than a real offensive Pokemon, which is my normal forte. Right now he's got Leech Seed, Double Team, Sludge Bomb and Giga Drain; I plan on replacing Sludge Bomb and Giga Drain with Toxic and Energy Ball as soon as I find the TMs for them. Leech Seed + Toxic, then Double Team to stay hidden, and Energy Ball so he has an actual attack...ahh, awesome. I remember in earlier generations there was this...glitch, I guess? Where if you used Leech Seed and Toxic on a Pokemon, the amount of poison done each turn would remain the same while Leech Seed would drain more health with every passing turn. Anybody know if that still happens?
