Here's a higher-quality portion of the same game footage. Hehe, the fact that your Todd didn't work tells me something big is about to happen.

Hehe, the fact that your Todd didn't work tells me something big is about to happen. Are you kidding? That was one of the best Todd's ever! "Eat you" and "blow it" in the same sentence is asking to be Todded.

I think he meant that the Todd picture hasn't shown up. It isn't showing for me, anyway. It just says [image].

All files in relation to NinDB's storage space are deleted thanks to some unknown issue. Same one as thie thing that causes you not able to see anything in the new site.

Trying to fix your todded phrase steals away the fun from it, so I'd say no. And yeah, people, it was because of technical problems that are being discussed here (I hadn't noticed today's posts).

Yeah, good point. Plus, the original sounds better.

Enough forum cliches, back to Pokemon.
You know my DP Pokedex is currently lacking a few GS Pokemon. I may actually complete my Pokedex for once! (I say that every generation but it never happens)

Scans of CoroCoro reveal things like a whole new female protagonist, the availability of the Pichu from the 12th movie as a promotional Pokémon (which unlocks an event at Ilex Forest), and new artworks for the Johto Pokémon. In some screenshots you can see the starters following you around in other places than New Bark. According to Serebii.net, the opposite-gender protagonist is going to be a supporting character like in previous games.

Yeah, agreed. It just doesn't sound so necessary due to the original games not having that. However, it would be interesting to learn if they have default names as NPCs like May, Brendan, Dawn and Lucas. Thinking in allies made me remember that double battles didn't exist in games prior to Ruby & Sapphire. And yet, the "Twins" did exist as a Trainer class in Gold, Silver and Crystal. Remember them?

That gives me an idea.
But moving on. Totally annoying, 'specially since FireRed and LeafGreen didn't do that with Leaf (if you're Red) / Red (if you're Leaf.) It's a new concept that shouldn't be retro-added. It's fine not to have that. I also don't like that Kris replacement. It needs to be Kris. Save the goofy hat and short-short overalls for another generation, this is Kris' era.

Crystal was the most generic, boringly designed playable character in all of the Pokemon games (okay, second behind Todd/Snap/whatever his name was). Glad she's gone. They've pretty much ballsed up Gold there, though. His shorts look dumb.
I'll be going with Mario-wannabe Girl.

I quite like that Gold design. Of all the male trainers we've had so far, he looks the most like a person.
I'm perfectly happy not having Officer Jenny Jr. Kris in the game.

According to Serebii.net, the opposite-gender protagonist is going to be a supporting character like in previous games. Why can't they just do a straight-ish port of the game, instead of messing around with it? I don't mind the updating of movelists and such, but this.... *facepalm*
